Sometimes I wish I had gotten into The Amazing Digital Circus when it first started, but I think it's better this way. I didn't have months between episodes to build unreasonable expectations about what I thought the show would be. I didn't have time to become attached to ideas of where the show would go only for them to be destroyed. I got to miss that whole thing where apparently everyone was super racist. I just watched episodes 1-8 over a single weekend, like, a month before the finale came out. I was able to watch it for what it was, and not what I wanted it to be. I got to say, "wow, what a fun and interesting cartoon. Neato." Without the years of drama, hype, or hate surrounding it. Great experience.
I have a feeling this post is going to get a lot of people heated, so I'm just going to remind you that this is a tumblr post about a cartoon show and you probably have bigger things to be worried about right now.
