Now this is how you end a close fought game! I’m still a little heartbroken for Victoria, but do still love Rose and wish them well in the final today. As for Scald Eagle and Lady Trample here? I wish them ask the best and THEY ARE ADORABLE.

I know that this doesn’t meet WFTDA’s media requirements but I couldn’t help it… I love this!!

“Yesterday I played my final game with my team, my heroes, London Brawling. Very appropriate and fitting that it was against those epic neon babes Montreal.

This has been a wild 8 years with my incredible league London Rollergirls. I’m so inextricably linked with our extraordinary global community that we have built with our bare hands, that we’ve poured our hearts, our souls, our tears, our strength into and dedicated our lives to. I’ll never fully leave you roller derby, and it’s just about breaking my heart, but our relationship has to evolve and I am excited to see what adventures lie ahead for me without you dominating every aspect of my life.

Every one of us came to this sport looking for something, I was one of those who didn’t even know they were searching. And what did I find? I’m not sure I’m able to put it into words, but I can tell you that it’s so, so beautiful and so, so important. So… we will be doing our laps every Sunday morning. I'mma need to get more sleep on Saturday nights and get a good breakfast in the mornings!

I’m not sure of my times the first several times I tried this, but I hit success for the first time at tryouts in February. My most recent times(starting with that tryout time): Feb 2016 - 4:47 4/3/16 - 5:01 (totally annoying) 4/10/16 - 4:55 (I know I can do better than this! Hate to make excuses, but I chaperoned prom and part of after prom last night and got home at 2:30 am.
