Everybody is listening, everybody is watching, even when you're sleeping. Today, the universe lost an incredibly talented artist. Six kids lost their father. I do not you personally, but I am shattered. Chester Bennington, the frontman of Linkin Park. Unfortunately, he lost the battle against his demons. His voice... iconic, irreplaceable with heartfelt emotion which we all escaped to in difficult moments. It does not matter if you have a great career, a shelter over your head or a family that loves you unconditionally. Depression is real and it will devour you alive. Suicide is the devil on earth walking amongst us. I grew up listening to Linkin Park filled with frustration and anguish. The taboos in society that were swept under the rug were manifested in their music. Bullying Anxiety Suicidal thoughts Depression These diseases kill us slowly because we can't express it freely. As fate would have it, unfortunate events occur then it is spoken about... but lightly. I just want to thank Chester. For making the world on my shoulder lighter. I identified myself in the melodies, poetry, his voice, his screams. I let my mind wander and it escaped.
