The “would you choose your pets over your partner” argument is legit so stupid to me because no one who actually cares about you would ever ask you to make that choice. Like of course I’m going to choose my animals that are completely dependent on my care, love me unconditionally, and would not be able to understand why their lives were uprooted if I got rid of them over an asshole who made me make a choice like that despite knowing how important my animals are to me.

A better question would be "what kind of abusive asshole would force you to abandon your pet"

Life is so much more fun, light, rich and juicy when you acknowledge that this is all an experience of the soul, spirit, essence, whatever you wish to call it. An experience to do whatever you want to do. Create whatever you want to create. Have fun with it. Roll with it. Test yourself and see, what do you have to lose. Don’t like it: learn, re-align, create again. See just how intrinsic and CREATIVE you really are. Everything before you was created by the same matter that you exist of. Constructs, norms, limits. Create new ones. That’s where the good stuff is.
