in north america, bucking broncos were rarely carved but they are common amongst mexican & south american carousels!

i’m curious if there’s any specific terminology for broncos 🤔 some have straight front legs, others seem balanced

some with bulkier saddles while others are smooth, was this to prevent carousel riders from falling off ?? or artistic difference ??

i don't think i have one! i love every carousel horse, different poses or faded paint, they're all precious to me

the only carousel content i dislike is when it's created by people using ai

the beauty of any art form is that it comes from the heart and was crafted by our hands

we once painted horses on cave walls, then we carved horses so anyone could enjoy riding them! ai takes away the soul from that

also known as wind blown manes, carousel horse carvings were all about showing a horse in motion! this was the perfect mane to do the job
