I'm a runner, and he knows where the track team has workouts. One day, I want to be running the last set of a workout, being as exhausted as ever, and I won't be paying attention to anything except the finish line. Suddenly, I will blink as I cross the line, and when I open my eyes, I'll see him waiting. Before I speak a word, he'll crouch down a bit, wrap his arms around my waist, and lift me up into the air. I'll feel as if I am in the clouds, but then he'll kiss me, and my heart will drop, taking me floating down with it. Even when we part, he places me on the ground, and I'm still looking in his eyes, my heart will still force itself down with gravity, because gravity's purpose is to magnetize objects in the air to the surface of the earth. The heart is just trying to do what it's supposed to do; things are just the way they're supposed to be. He loves me.
