Michaels is about to have me go broke
I was walking around Michaels craft store with my mom and we were looking at the Halloween and Christmas decor and crafts they had for sale and the whole time I was doing the FNAF beatbox (flawlessly) and my mom threatened to kill me.
in quite nearly every fandom, there will be a michael. it will be spelt micheal constantly. such is the way of life
Just watched a video of a bunch of people doing a trend where they tell their bf/fiance/husband that they are going to Michael’s to watch them freak out and get mad and ask who Michael is and why they’re just going over to his house.
Which 1 - happened to a friend in college when her jealous boyfriend called while we were out, she told him we were at Michael’s and he got weird and shitty about it. I thought he was uniquely dumb and annoying.
2 - how do none of these people know what Michael’s is?
3 - if I tried this on my husband he’d sigh and be like “please don’t spend ALL your money?” And “…do you really need MORE yarn/beads/paint/current 2 week fixation material?” To which the answers are “I mean I can try” and “yes.”

In compiling as many sets as I could find, both active and retired, I made a special exception for figures and sets that are less cutsey horror and more genuine horror scenarios listed from movies and fiction.
Not included in this lineup is one called "forbidden temple" or something like that. Like the mummy-tomb one it's choc full of appropriation but I'd say even worse as it's budget Indiana Jones in the worst sense of the word. Like, I can have a table accent with a smiling witch hunt all I want but I'm just not into one that's a bunch of "natives" sacrificing a white girl. I don't know what it is but it just doesn't feel good to me...
