I see ads on here that defy description. Absolutely exotic bizarre things that I wish I could save or reblog or something, anything so that someone else may bear witness to this shit

I've been thinking about suffering as the operative force behind love & moral judgment via the analogy of hell. For a person whose life is entirely constituted by a series of suffering (hell), wouldn't the most rational course of action be to express solidarity with their fellow sufferer, and to assist them, if possible? In hell, you cannot truly ease suffering, it is the fabric of reality, but even still, willing for the good of others fundamentally contradicts that reality. Contradiction being the most powerful form of will.

There is this very grounded suggestion that I/we are unwillingly part of some alien teleology and I am increasingly finding that disgusting.
