Canadian artist Jonathan Sadowski aka the Dodo Bird (DDB)

"When he was in school Jonathan Sadowski's teacher said he was was a dodo and would never be able to fly. Time proved the teacher wrong and DDB flew many many flights in a small plane in Northern Ontario. The Dodo Bird became his signature. When he retired he began to draw and the drawings became the creation of his own world, skyborn, filled with beings marginally reminiscent of earthly spirits.....These are more the restless denizens of a dream world.....dangerous and often friendly that keep his self depictions as a pilot company in the empty sky. DDB has created a unique world."
