Haha, absolutely terrifying! I don’t know a thing about moose aside from them being very large and fickle animals. Would not recommend petting a wild moose, but I don’t even live far enough north to see them so I have no idea to what degree this idea is insane. That’s a massive animal, but at least it’s not a bull I think?

From my (very) limited understanding, it’s best to watch moose from a distance. They can be friendly creatures, but they can also weigh like 1200 pounds, so you do NOT want to accidentally agitate one.

I would honestly rather come across a wild mountain lion than a wild [insert literally any megafauna herbivore here]. At least a mountain lion will leave me alone as long as it isn’t hungry or cornered, herbivores sometimes just wake up and choose violence.
