for what its worth i think its really funny how in creative trades its very common to simply be afflicted with a curse. like its well-known and accepted that every so often you will go through a few months where everything you make turns out bad, nothing works, you can try and try and toil endlessly but theres nothing you can do about it other than attempt a bunch of weird rituals or simply wait it out- so in other words, youre cursed. like sure you can call it ""artist's block""" but i know a curse when i see one.

Yesterday I saw a dude with the PERFECT superman curl. It looked like he'd done an overnight wet set with a single hair curled and not brushed it out. It was IMMACULATE. When I commented on it he chucked and said "yeah, it's a cowlick, I used to be embarrassed about it but recently my son told me it looked cool and bought me product and now I'm embracing it." And this dude's son has incredible taste because it looked great. Happy for him.
