I'm pretty much by default in defense of people who enjoy dark fiction just as a general artistic philosophy and as a political stance, but my god so much of it is such cornball shit. Just so embarrassing to look upon it drives me nuts

I need there to be a thriving diversity of artistic content and thought specifically so we can move beyond facile moral arguments to get to the meat of aesthetic critique and admit that a lot of this shit is just really lame and cringe and bad. And not for its content but in its presentation

So many good things come in buns… cinnamon buns, pork buns, hamburger buns, hot cross buns… we must appreciate the humble bun for its service
