pls support trans girls and trans women who like traditionally masculine things
no seriously please reblog this ive seen so many posts saying to support trans boys and trans men who like traditionally feminine things and those posts are good!! i love them!!
but i have never in my life seen a post saying to support masculine trans girls and trans women or trans girls and trans women who like traditionally masculine things and its really important to understand that showing support for trans women in any form is just as important as showing support for trans men so please, please reblog this.
support trans women and trans girls. support trans women and trans girls who like traditionally masculine things. trans women and trans girls who like traditionally masculine things are not any less valid than trans women and trans girls who don’t!!
honestly one of my favorite things about fanfic is when you can see the canon influences come out in really subtle ways. like a canon line thats mentioned once as a throwaway is suddenly the entire premise for a fic or it influences the characterization or something. its just so cool to see how people weave their ideas around a source material, especially if its not a detail i'd thought about before
put me in ur discord server so i can feel bad about never talking in there
pan!cleo so far
Today, on the Pantheonic Times!:
The games have begun! The bickering gods have chosen twelve souls from the river styx to fight on their behalf in a winner-takes-all battle to the death! The champions will be surviving the elements of nature, brand new abilities, and the biggest threat on the battlefield: each other.
And wow, what an eventful first day it was! Our champions were dropped into their battlefield, given a chance to acclimate to their surroundings and their competitors, and two of our champions, the champion of the ever dark night and the champion of the persistent hunt, were sent to the god’s arena, to fight to the death! Pearl, champion of Nyx, was victorious, and Nobody, the champion of Artemis, fell for the first time, losing one of his coins.
As some of our loyal readers may have gathered, we have some standout members which we here at Pantheonic times believe you should keep a careful eye on.
Scott Antous Mateos Pagona pavlovas III, champion of Aeolus, seems to be quite skilled at the social aspect of this game and should be considered a threat, even despite his lack of athletic or combat prowess. Once one of most well renowned actors in all of greece, now using that social credit he gained in life to get ahead and create alliances with others. However, he seems to have a few soft spots for certain competitors he puts no effort in hiding the fact he finds attractive.
Speaking of alliances, a strong team known as the Featherholders had begun to grow in numbers and strength. It is made of already powerful individuals such as Apo Kuna, Champion of morpheus, with the abilities to disguise herself or others in plain sight, Owen, Champion of Kronos, able to remember things before they happen, know secrets before they’re told, Pearl, Champion of Nyx, notable for her affinity for violence and early win in the first arena battle, Sausage, Champion of Hermes, can hop twenty feet in a single step, and Pyro, champion of Athena, skilled at seeing things others may not, Thus far, they have exhibited an unmatched trust and loyalty among themselves, one that will be very handy in the competition to come, seeing how easily they manage to mobilize to assist eaachother and coordinate to both vote in line with eachother, but also to align their favours to ensure eachother’s victory.
On a contrary tactic, Abolish, champion of Hepheastus, has kept his cards very close to his chest. Refusing to reveal his abilities, his past, or even his patron. While this tactic isnt the smartest in relation to the alliance aspect of the social game, it sure has a chance to give him a leg up to not only in the aforementioned social game, giving people the idea that he is something to be scared of, but also the combat aspect, as an enemy that knows not what they fight against, can not fight as effectively. Not to mention, the mystery makes for spectacular entertainment!
Of course, this isn’t a comprehensive list of our champions, nor is it a full list of all we believe are important, as we have deadlines and time constraints here at Pantheonic times, it is simply the ones we have our eyes on the most, and the ones we have the most to say about.
Stay tuned to get all your news on the Pantheon games, happenings on olympus, and updates on just about anything magic, here at Pantheonic Times!

My latest humiliation ritual is getting into a car accident while listening to JRWI. Just sitting there crying and shaking while fucking Gillion Tidestrider is yelling in the background… Might be a 1 of 1 experience
the champion night
”I have this artistic idea but not the skills to achieve it to the standard I want.”
congrats! Now you have a motif! A recurring theme! A focus for your art! Something to haunt you!
Seventeen still lives of dandelions? Three hundred poems about grief? A sketchbook dedicated to your grandmother’s house? Two books trying to unravel the complexities of familial relationships?
Don’t let the fear of it not being perfect on the first try stop you from being Weird About It!
Please view Hokusai's gradual working towards The Great Wave Off Kanagawa, over a period of 39 years.
An early exploration of the themes Hokusai would keep coming back to is Spring in Enoshima, done in 1793 when he was 33. The wave is small and there are no boats, but Mt Fuji is clear in the background, and Enoshima is in Kanagawa, so we are clearly beginning to work towards something here.
A second pass, eleven years later in 1803 when he was 44. The title of this one begins to get more familiar: The View of Honmoku Off Kanazawa. It has a towering wave over a smaller boat, but Mt Fuji is not present, and the boat is considerably larger and has a sail. But the feeling of danger in the wave and the smallness of the boat are here, and of course the general composition is definitely recognizable.
This is A View Of Express Delivery Boats, done in 1805, merely two years later at age 46. Here we find the wave and the boats almost exactly as we'll find them in The Great Wave Off Kanagawa, though Mt Fuji isn't present, and the location is uncertain. And it's a good picture! The wave is threatening, the boats are small -- but the feeling of "ocean" isn't really there yet, is it? It's unlikely this picture would have become a classic for the ages. But that's okay, there's still time.
And here we have it, a full 26 years later, done by Hokusai in 1831 at the age of 72. The Great Wave Off Kanagawa, one of the most recognizable pieces of art in the world. The boats are there, the mountain is there, the wave is there, and the FEELING is there. He did it! He reached the apex of his ongoing motif and theme!
Or did he? Because the whole point of a motif is not that you're striving to get to the perfect version of it, the one idealized image you carried in your head all along, and when it is done, you are also done. Hokusai is on record at the age of 73 saying he'd only just begun to feel like he was learning how to draw things properly, and that "if I keep up my efforts, I will have even a better understanding when I was 80 and by 90 will have penetrated to the heart of things. At 100, I may reach a level of divine understanding, and if I live decades beyond that, everything I paint — dot and line — will be alive." He had drawn The Great Wave, but he didn't believe he was finished -- he thought that he was still just beginning to get started.
And he wasn't finished with his ocean motif, either. Please check out his Mt Fuji At Sea, done in 1834 at the age of 75.
It's all there; Mt Fuji, the ocean, the wave. The boats are gone, but replaced with birds, flying with the wave instead of fighting against it. It's not as famous as The Great Wave Off Kanagawa, but that's not what motifs are for -- each successive work does not have to surpass the previous in terms of success, especially in terms of external success. They're there for you to keep playing with, keep remixing and re-experiencing, for as long as you think you have something to say.
