Two image posts that simultaneously graced my timeline one after another.

I found the comparison absolutely beautiful, the colors matching almost perfectly. Just in different amounts. Such as the blue in his jeans matching the fading border of the painting, the green field and camo jacket, even down to the oranges and reds in the woman of the painting matching the lighting hitting gerards skin. How the trees in the painting have similar lines to the hair in the photo. The area of the focal point of each piece being slightly on the left.

And even how when placed side by side, the line of the horizon in the painting aligns with the background stage of the singer.

This really has nothing to do with the band and more the natural artistry of it all so I wanted to share anyway.

This was just a really cool little artist moment i wanted to share because it brought me joy.

Life imitates art imitates life.
