he couldn’t just keep his mouth shut, the second he saw you he became an introverts worst nightmare, flirting you up, teasing you, and all hell, but really it was kind of a mask, act all obnoxious and sultry so he wouldn’t have to face his real feelings that felt so raw and soft in his chest.

you thought he was the stereotypical sleazer of a pirate with only treasure and whoring about on his mind, only thinking with his junk not with his brain, but the longer time you spent with him you started to see something deeper beneath the surface, crawling under his skin picking at his insides, and there he was, this hidden ‘gentleman’ that when it came to it wanted nothing more than to protect you with all he could.

after bickering and teasing a bunch, you ended up hooking up one night, it was silly you thought, nothing would come of it, but when you woke up the next day he was still there, you woke up to him watching you with this soft look in his eyes before giving you a slight smirk as he saw you opening your eyes “morning good looking, how’d you sleep?”, after fully waking up you both got to the kitchen to make breakfast, eating together and just talking for a bit, like it was normal, you’ve been together ever since.

your relationship wasn’t anything strange, it was sweet and passionate, tons of tender moments and dates, going out on adventures together, staying at each other’s places, the typical things.

him teaching you how to use a sword properly, and using those moments as an excuse to touch you, being close to you as he repositions your arm, your body the right way, so close you can feel his breath brush against your neck as his finger brush gently against your skin, it’s so intimate it almost makes you laugh deliriously.

of course, he’s protective of you, after what happened with his last relationships, no way in hell is he jeopardizing this one, he’s always there when you need him, a protective hand there to shield you, or just ground you when your mind is all over the place.

more on that, if anyone were to hurt you, oh he’d raise hell upon them, never stopping until they’ve felt your pain ten times stronger, would literally give anything, even his life, to keep you safe, but you wouldn’t let it come to that.

he’s very caring, giving you a comforting hand when he sees yours trembling, opening doors for you and letting you lean on him whenever needed, loves just having you in his arms, cuddling and hugging you whenever.

i feel like he’d be the type to want to spoil you, always getting you gifts, such as jewelry, books, or anything you’re interested in, and of course making you dinner, breakfast, and lunch, going with you whenever you’re shopping for clothes, loves to see your try on new clothes, and will always try to pay for you but sometimes you just wanna pay for yourself which he respects, but he WILL be carrying your bags.

living on land, in an apartment in storybrooke got dull after some time, and the both of you decide that leaving would make a good change, so you moved onto his boat, making it a pleasant home to go back to from your adventures, having a swell old time living on his ship, sailing the seas, traveling the realms together.
