The reasons are of course that I need drawing years of trees as a way of denial of all the bad things that happened to him in the first age :((

All of sudden I have headcanons about Maedhros and Maglor I didn’t think of before, thanks to my own brother’s passion for music and his needs of keeping me from sleeping at night so he can rant about Chopin, and I need to share it with someone but on the other hand I don’t want to bother anyone so I am rambling here  a little instead.

Have you known there’s this song “Your Ex-Lover Is Dead” by Stars? It’s opening line is ‘When there’s nothing left to burn, you have to set yourself on fire.’ and it gives me so much Maedhros vibes, and it makes me so sad.

I edited the colors and I think I tagged it wrong before and it didn’t show up in the tags, so I am posting it again. (or maybe it’s just so terrible that only two people liked it (both to whom I am very grateful)? we’ll see.)
