And being in that role meant a lot to him, so he promised himself to not get sidetracked and not dissatisfy his parents, especially his father

When neteyam first arrived to the Metkayina clans land, he felt put on spot, dare he say a little anxious?

Fidgeting slightly beside his younger brother loak, practically feeling everyone judging them by the way their..well everything is different to the rest.

He felt his heart pound in his chest just by the look of you, how confident yet kind your energy felt, the way you carried yourself, neteyam couldn’t help but forget the stoic and fearless act as a warrior just looking at you.

“Hey bro your staring” loak says with a faint smirk trying to lighten the mood

“Staring? At what exactly bro” neteyam replies back hushed making sure the way his lips moved wasn’t caught

Though despite loaks teasing loak couldn’t help but look at your sister at your side, the same look neteyam gave you.

Neteyam wanted to tease him back from the way he was staring as well, but he knows he couldn’t, not when he was doing the exact same thing.

“..you know you could totally have a shot, maybe a little bragging at how your such a perfect son and warrior, might get her” Loak speaks again muttering as if giving advice on relationships was normal

Neteyam pierces his ears back and sways his tail slightly

“That sounds stupid bro, besides I’m keeping my title, I can’t have any distractions”

“Whatever you say bro” Loak finishes with a soft shrug and looks around at the new scenery

But neteyam was still staring at you, your everything pulled him, and that was a feeling he never thought he could have..

But it’s definitely not unwanted.

Subtle things like..packing your favorite heart shaped baked good into a small lunch box, with a little note

But that’s when it clicked for you.

You noticed how much traces of words that were now faintly gone due to him erasing it..but you made out the faint letters

“Love ya- miyamura”

Once, he played the piano for you, and he..wasn’t the best for some reason that day, his hands were stiff from his nervous he was but he kept going no matter what and when the song finished he grinned that stupid confident yet stupidly charming look that made him look cool and manly even if he was blushing just by the look of you watching him with those wide eyes he loves

But later that day he screamed into the pillow and complained to maka how uncool he looked..

“Soul im sure they loved it”

“I messed up the whole song and I was blushing so bad!..maka you don’t understand how uncool I looked in front of them..”

“Yeah? I suppose their gonna leave you now”

“Don’t say that!”

Meanwhile you were in your room with a soft smile thinking about the cute moment while soul panicked the whole night.

Jiji is definitely the most energetic affectionate boyfriend you’ve ever had.

Walking to class? Jiji is doing some funny stupid face he always does while holding your hand.

Barely coming out of class? Jiji was already outside the class door waiting for you, the second you walked out he launched himself towards you in a big bear hug!

If you were slightly off one day, Jiji would panic like crazy, he would be wayyyy more frantic with his funny gestures, doing any funny face he could do and any joke he could say to make sure you were happy!..that day you were only just sleepy, and Jiji thought you hated him for the little joke he said about how grumpy you look in the mornings.

He would stop being closer to girls and trying to get their attention, sure, he still talks to them, but he made sure they got the impression that he was taken by you.

Like randomly show them a picture of you in his phone wallpaper, or randomly talk about how his lover would text him in exactly five minutes..eh..did I mention he scheduled every average time you texted him? Which, was his favorite times of the day.

Jiji would be the type to give you gifts randomly! For no reason! One day he randomly showed up at your house with a bouquet, and when you asked why? He simply said “because why not”

The other day, a plushie, and the next?! A necklace!

He’s a total goner.

A total goner for that smile that made his day brighter, a total goner for your laugh which made his heart race faster, a total goner for the way you say his name so casually as if it didn’t take so much restraint to kiss your face uncontrollably, a total goner for those eyes that made his world stop the first time you glanced back at him in the halls.

He would be the type of boyfriend to do anything for you

Homework you forgot to finish? He would quickly do each problem carefully (and made sure to add notes on what to say if the teacher calls on you to explain how you did it, so thoughtful!)

Complained it was too cold? Would give you his jacket and let himself be cold just to see you comfortable, and if he didn’t have a jacket? Would wrap his arms around you like a human heater.

He would be a little jealous, but subtly, he’s still new to this relationship stuff ૮꒰ྀི⸝⸝> . <⸝⸝꒱ྀིა

He sees you with a boy who looks a little too comfortable with you? He would nervously interrupt his random conversation between you and the guy and nervously hold your hand..(but the second the boy gets the hint and leaves, okarun automatically moves his hand away, because he’s too nervous and awkward!)

Speaking of being nervous and awkward and new to the relationship stuff, he barely knew how to kiss you..

Lucky you! You’re his first kiss..but it will still so..awkward, it wasn’t even a kiss! More like a tiny peck..but that peck meant so much to okarun, he was blushing and stuttering and fumbling the second he pulled away.

The second you both parted ways he fist bumped the air in victory, a sheepish fist bump to the air though, a second later he leaned against a tree to catch himself from passing out from just that one peck!

But you still found it cute, everything okarun did had its own charm.

The way he ranted about aliens with you, the way his eyes softened just by someone saying your name, the way he would straighten his back and fix his glasses when you walked past him in the halls, the way he would brush his pinkie against yours when you walked together, a subtle way to ask if he could hold your hand, the way he would fix your hair if it looked slightly disheveled.

the way he would write your name in his nerdy alien magazines which he swore he would never ruin something as precious as his magazines.

But you were an exception, because to his eyes, you were more precious than his magazines.
