A lot of times when people have a need, they think that if God wanted to, He would just automatically meet it. But Jesus didn’t say, according to your need be it unto you; He said, according to your faith. That’s why it’s so important to have an attitude of expectancy every single day. If we want God to move in our lives, we have to approach every day filled with faith and hope.

Scripture tells us in Romans that “faith comes by hearing the Word of God.” The more you meditate on the Word of God, the more your faith will grow and the more you will see Him working in your life.

Sometimes Satan tries to pull you down and breed insecurity within the blessings that God has provided for you in your life. Don’t let yourself get caught up in his web of deception. Sometimes ‘life happens’ –– things don’t work, people don’t come through when they say they will. But you need to be gracious enough to apologise when necessary, strong enough to believe things will get better, and secure in Christ enough to know that this is not how your story ends. Keep your head up. You’re bigger than your faults, your fears and your failures — you’re bigger than the people who let you down, bruise your spirit and make you feel small. You’re a fighter with a kind heart, and a warrior who knows their strength comes from laying their pride at the foot of the cross before every battle. You’re not a push over, you’re not a forgotten life and you haven’t been left behind. Satan will push, pull, poke and prod at every area left open, and target the vulnerabilities within you. He will warp, mix and manipulate anything he can get his hands on without any hesitation or shame. He is sly, malicious and sneaky. He will attempt to cause disunity, distrust and a foul distaste for Christ and others in your mouth. He will attempt to keep you from knowing Gods word, he will dangle questions and thoughts like ‘is this even relevant’ and ‘is this really true’ before your very eyes, and try to produce doubt in your mind; do not buckle, do not waiver, but stand firm on the truth that ALL scripture is God breathed, ever enduring, real and relevant. He will attempt to draw you away from your purpose, luring you with temptations that seem almost too good to be true –– they are; stick with God, stick with the fulfilment of His promises and His prophesies.. Don’t settle for anything less than GODS best. You are significant, you are important and you are vital. When you are walking in obedience with God, and your eyes and focus are set on His thoughts and His ways, and your heart is fully immersed in His hands, Satan has no power, and no stronghold. When things get tough, don’t give in, just look to the eyes and heart of The Father, and know where your peace, comfort and help comes from.

I finally see what it was all about. This whole story is about a God that won’t give up. There are ups and there are seriously downs but he never leaves.

If He never left mankind from Genesis to Revelation, I know that means he won’t leave me where I am. He is ever constant. Through misunderstanding, frustration, fear, and tragedy, He does not run away.

When you look at the Bible as a whole, you see it. You see the heart of a Father that says in your beginning I’ll be here, and no matter how you end, here I’ll be.
