But right then and there, Eddie decides that Theo is his son just as much as Chris is Buck's. He sweeps Theo in a huge hug, one that makes Theo feel so safe and secure as Eddie lets him cry it all out.

okay someone needs to explain something to me. In ep s03e15 when the well collapsed and Eddie got buried alive, Buck lost his mind and literally tried to dig it back up with his bare hands. In s04e14 when Eddie got shot by the sniper, Buck lost his mind dragging Eddie to safety then trying to keep him alive in the engine on the way to the hospital. But in s09e18 after the hospital lockdown and Buck is like “where’s Eddie?” then the elevator doors open to reveal Eddie in a pool of blood, Buck’s just like “oh there he is,” while Chim is the one who goes rushing over in a panic?
