Eddie deserved a better story than what he got. They set it up here and there but they did not do anything substantial with any one it. Ik these writers don't deserve it, but I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt that all of it will tie into a good arc in season 10. (Fingers crossed)

If what I read was true and that Angela had in fact said she'll leave if Peter leaves, then I'm not surprised about the character arc. Feels like she's erasing herself from the show slowly.

I actually liked that Theo is with Buck. And here's why.

Buck never had anyone who was his own.

Maddie loved and took care of him but she left and he didn't have her for a long time.

118 (including Bobby+Athena) is his family but they all still had their families of their own. Buck was not a priority to them.

Eddie and Chris do consider Buck family at least (and tia pepa) but Buck being Buck, I don't think he ever considered as them belonging to him alone. Or being an actual part of their family unit. Chris, at least, may think Buck is a parental figure to him but if u ask Buck he'll most probably just say "oh no, I just helped here and there. Eddie's the one who raised him."

So Buck having Theo? That's him having his own family at last. That's having someone who is his. So yh I like Buck raising his kid. Because he deserves to have his dream of having a family and unconditional love. He deserves his kid.

Final thoughts: We are officially in the queerbait zone people. They're not making it canon. If they are, they're gonna drag it out for so fucking long and milk fans waiting for it to happen season after season as long as they can and do the most horrifc ending for them. My hopes were slightly up after last few eps but now all my hopes are 99% gone.

I think this episode is the one that showcased the most that we really don't have any insight into Robby's mind this season. His spiralling makes us be mad at him and feel so fucking awful about his behaviour and it truly does showcase how mental health often appears in the most awful ways and how we tend to overlook them, and judge them.

As someone who is very well self-aware that I lose my patience and act in some awful ways and have to actively control myself whenever my mental health takes the plunge I get Robby. But I also know I need help and is actively working on it. Robby is just being stubborn and in his own words "need to get over" himself and get the help he needs and is offered constantly. It's one thing if those servicea are unavailable and unaffordable and being uneducated, another being just willfully ignorant.

I also had the same "if i die then i die" mentality so to see it in Robby is just... Death idealization is just...fuck

On the other hand as much I now like Santos, I do not agree with her behaviour towards Langdon. She has every right to be mad at Langdon for his behaviour towards her, and Langdon does need to apologise for them. But his addiction does not mean he should have been fired nor does it mean that she can disrespect her senior, undermine and roll her eyes at a man much more experienced than her (who was correct and more efficient about the diagnosis and the treatment plan as agreed by an attending and a surgeon) and do it in front of a patient. She was right to report him but she is not qualified enough to determine if he can do his job or not. Putting aside that Garcia very clearly does not intend to have a proper relationship with Santos and her words being harsh, she was right to say that Trinity should not behave in such a way.

On a bright note I find it so endearing that Robby, despite his obvious bad state, smiles so brightly when Dennis makes a joke or just visibly look so much more happy when near him.
