she’s just coming back into the apartment complex after being out for a few hours , walking with intent to get the hell out of the heat and back into her room when she hears a voice. stops , examines the other , and then sighs as if she’s been inconvenienced. “ yeah , sure. ” despite reluctant sound , uses her key to let the other into the complex. “ how do you manage to lock yourself out ? ” judgement is easily picked up in her voice , eyebrows raising at the question.

heels click against tile as the approaches the check out of the store , notices ivy in front of her almost immediately and lets out a laugh at the comment the other makes. she’s not exactly in a hurry to buy two bottles of wine that was way cheaper than her taste , but she wasn’t going to wait around for ivy to pick out some gum. “ is it really that hard of a decision , ivy ? ” asks curiously , stepping around her. “ it’s just gum. pick a flavor , pick a brand , all done. ” sets the wine on the counter of the checkout , looking back over her shoulder. “ if it takes you more than a minute , i’m judging you. ”
