vlad’s encouragement for her to indulge in pork belly is as warm as they come, though euphemia is not quite convinced. “oh, no, no. i eat too much, and i’ll find myself thinking about it an entire year,” that’s an experience she wouldn’t dare subject herself to—for a luxury to be repeated in her head, over and over, until the next founder’s day comes. “i’ll stick to my fruits for now, thanks.” she hasn’t ruled out having fun that day, however, and as such follows her refusal with an invitation: “how about face painting? that sounds exciting, don’t you think?” 

vlad was always in high spirits, considerably so on founders day. like a breath of fresh air—- a comparison that jan had no right to make. “better eat up, bud, you’ll need it if you want to beat my stats on the rowing machine.” a grin emerged. “or we could start with the ring toss.”

“Don’t hesitate––” Vlad stated softly waving his hands at the food on display before them, directing his fingers at one plate in particular. “Not everyday is Founders Day, take an extra piece of pork belly. It’s really worth it, trust me.” he insisted with a warm smile lacing his lips. He’d always been a big fan of bacon, and it was a luxury getting the best kind.
