viktor committing every single thing jayce says to memory. viktor going out and smiling every time he sees something that reminds him of jayce. viktor peppering kisses all over jayce's face. viktor petting jayce's hair and giving him scalp massages. linking pinkies every time they go out together because even though he isn't a big fan of PDA, he craves touch from jayce. viktor being so so proud of him and the loudest to clap in every public appearance. viktor pressing their foreheads together when jayce is anxious. viktor adjusting his tie, brushing lint off his clothes and fixing jayce's hair whenever jayce goes out. viktor sitting on the bathroom counter, shaving jayce's beard and cutting his hair. viktor cleaning the soot and sweat off jayce when he returns from the forge. viktor hanging up all of jayce's artwork around their apartment, because he is so in awe of his man and how multi-talented he is. viktor hugging jayce from behind and shuffling around the house in that position. viktor teasing and playing harmless pranks on jayce. calling jayce the most ridiculous, lovesick petnames in his language and when jayce asks what they mean, he tells him they're insults. viktor highlighting quotes and phrases in books that remind him of jayce. doodling jayce in the margins of his notebook even when he isn't really good at it. coming up behind jayce when he's sat working and playfully nibbling his ear. splashing water at him when they go swimming. building intricate sandcastles at the beach together. viktor learning all of jayce's favorite recipes from ximena, and cooking them for him post canon when he misses his mother too much. keeping the house warm and curtains shut during the winters. carefully keeping all of the gifts and trinkets jayce gives him. viktor glaring at anyone who dares give jayce suggestive looks.

Yet another modern au scribble!

an adaptation of a scene from Vice and Crucible by sherwoodfox -- one of my very fav jayvik fics ToT give it a read! I made a 10 page comic just to shill for this fic, so trust my convictions. it's good I promise

The keeper and his hound.

Viktor is on the sidelines when Jayce compound fractures his leg during a game their junior year and helps calm him down as they drive him off the field. After the initial cast is off, viktor puts himself in charge of Jayce’s physical therapy and they spend the rest of the season on the sidelines together with Viktor cuddles up next to Jayce on the bench to stay warm in the later part of the season. Jayce is healed up enough to play again his senior year, but has to wear a big athletic brace because the injury stretched his tendons out and made his knee unstable. Viktor wears a Talis jersey to all of the games even though the rest of the med team wears team t shirts. Jayce is number 42 cause it’s the answer to life the universe and everything and he may be a football player but he’s also a massive nerd and geek.
