The idea of scarecrow!Fiyero, who had no faith in the wizard in the first place and was only there to take care of Dorothy and find Elphaba, being handed his “Degree of Thinkology” and just being utterly gobsmacked is so funny to me

gotta love how Elphaba thinks Fiyero is dead, sings a whole anthem about it being her villain origin story, captures Dorothy, yells at her a little, and then receives the message from Fiyero letting her know he's alive and IMMEDIATELY cancels her villain era
