at-will employment is so evil

who thinks dismissing employees for any reason without warning and then those employees being denied help by court due to "at will" hiring is a fucking good idea?

also the claim that at-will employment still protects people from being fired for race/gender/sexuality is ridiculous. like, oh, you think you got fired for being gay? good luck in court because you were technically hired ~at will~ so it's not the employer's fault (:
