Hook (1991) What if Peter Pan grew up? I'm doing a little project. Partially inspired by Laura Thorpe, partially inspired by the #drawthisinyourstyle hashtag on Instagram, I present to you my Fortnight of Favourite Films in February, in which I share my favourite films with you. It's just a bit of fun, and something to tide myself over before the next #Inktober, I guess. It may even spark up conversation about some of my favourite films, starting with this one: If you were to ask me what my favourite film was when I was a child, I'd have had a think, excluded some of the traditional Disney films and would have said Hook. If you were to ask me a couple of years ago, I'd still have said Hook. I loved it, and remember watching it quite often in the back of the car on particularly long journeys. It has a fantastic premise, some brilliant performances, has the nostalgia points to boot (something that comes up quite a lot with my favourite films, as I realise some of them don't necessarily have the best rating in the world) and stars Bob Hoskins and Robin Williams. Films didn't come much better than this in my head, and I think it's a great one to kick the fortnight off. #Hook #FortnightofFavouriteFilmsinFebruary #DrawThisInYourStyle https://www.instagram.com/p/BtWTOc4DKXr/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=13f449t3rd4sv
