can we please please please learn to differentiate between things that are good but devalued because of their association with women (caring for children, being compassionate), things that are neutral but seen negatively because of their association with women (the colour pink, having long hair), and things that are bad but associated with women because of misogyny (being materialistic, being stupid) because otherwise we’re gonna keep getting takes like “being gender nonconforming is anti feminist” and “not studying for your classes is feminist”

not only do i support immigration, i don't want to live anywhere without immigrants

it strikes me as kind of premature that there are people playing the moral grandstanding game over how incredibly effective non-violent protests were at driving ICE out of minnesota when ICE is in fact still in minnesota kidnapping people and literally just murdered someone on the sidewalk 5 days ago. perhaps it's a little early to declare your diversity of tactics the superior and lone way forward to effectuate change when you have objectively changed absolutely nothing whatsoever yet. also it's kind of fucked up to disregard the fact that many of the actions taken by minneapolis protestors have been what the federal government and most liberals would classify and have classified in the past as "violent" protests, including property damage, throwing jars of literal piss at ICE agents and physically intervening when they are assaulting random citizens. usually it's poor form to white wash protests while they're still actively happening but i guess we do live in very different times now.
