this blog is independent, highly selective, mutuals only, and +20 only.   teddy has been my muse for years,  so my portrayal on this blog is 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭 & mostly 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝    

westworld verse is   private / friends only.

       there  was  something  different  about  the  world  when  she  was  by  his  side.  the  two  of  them  had  seen  their  fair  share  of  it’s  darkness,  but  someway,  somehow-  to  teddy,  it  all  looked  a  bit  brighter  when  they  were  together.  and  he  was  content  with  just  that.  standing  right  there  beside  her…  being  in  her  presence  as  she  soaked  in  the  sun.  she  almost  looked  at  peace,  and  the  thought  of  it  made  him  smile.  eyes  closed,  he  turned  his  face  toward  the  sky,  inhaling  deeply  that  fresh  mountain  air.  it  was  upon  his  exhale  that  he  felt  a  warmth  take  his  hand.  he  let  it  be  for  the  moment,  and  in  that  moment  the  warmth  traveled  up  his  arm  until  it  spread  through  his  chest.  

“ see,  that’s  why  you’re  my  favorite  one  here  -  y’make  the  right  decision. ”      mhm,  she’d  expected  that  he’d  be  smart  enough  to  grant  her  request  -  rather,  she’d  be  persistent  &  convincing  enough  to  beat  someone  down  into  occupying  her  time.  (teddy  just  happened  to  be  her  current  target  -  lucky  him.)

a  beaming  smile  crosses  her  features  (from  her  lips  to  her  eyes)  the  moment  that  her  present  company  agrees  to  her  proposed  -  vague  -  adventure.      “ hm  -  we  could  go  fishin’,  but  that’s  only  fun  when  i’m  goin’  with  someone  who  is  gonna  be  actual  competition. ”      she  means  it  entirely  good-heartedly,  as  proven  with  the  teasing  glint  in  her  eye.  abruptly,  she  sits  beside  teddy  and  raps  her  fingers  against  the  table  before  them,  clearly  trying  to  think  up  any  fun  ideas  that  they  can  feasibly  accomplish  -  she  hadn’t  expected  anyone  to  actually  take  her  up  on  the  offer.  (now  she’s  gotta  scramble.)      “ well  …  we  could  ride  into  town. ”      with  a  bit  of  envy  in  her  gaze,  eliza’s  eyes  flit  between  teddy’s  &  his  hat.       “ see  how  long  it  takes  for  me  t’pickpocket  drunks  ‘till  i  have  enough  for  a  new  hat,  too. ”

       ❛  𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫  𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡.  ❜  teddy  chuckles  softly,  lowering  his  head.  he  couldn’t  say  much  to  argue  her  comment  about  fishing  seeing  as  he  was  still  learning  the  ropes  of  it,  and  what  he  has  learned  is  nothing  to  gloat  about  nor  defend.  he  watches  as  she  takes  her  seat  beside  him,  his  eyes  immediately  drawn  to  her  fingers  that  thoughtfully  tap  upon  the  table  in  a  row.  before  he  can  even  attempt  to  assure  her  that  she  didn’t  really  need  an  idea  for  them  to  head  out,  she’s  popped  one  out  her  mouth.  he  fixes  her  with  an  unsure,  but  not  entirely  unconvinced  gaze.  he  waited  for  her  to  finish  her  thought  before  noticing  the  subtle  glance  at  his  hat.  his  eyes  glance  up  also  before  turning  back  to  her.  

       ❛  𝐬𝐨  𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠  𝐚𝐬  𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞  𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭.  ❜  teddy  spoke  softly.  the  smile  he  had  to  offer  wasn’t  his  best,  but  it  did  well  enough  to  mask  the  sting  he  was  feeling  in  his  side.  it  was  already  getting  late  when  the  two  of  them  returned  to  camp.  it  was…  an  eventful  outing  to  say  the  least,  but  could  have  ended  a  lot  worse  were  either  of  them  on  their  own.  teddy  had  stood  slowly  and  patted  kieran  on  the  shoulder.  

       with  the  hopes  of  turning  in  for  the  night,  he  turned  to  leave,  but  before  he  could  take  one  step,  kieran  caught  him  by  the  wrist.  with  eyes  slightly  widened,  teddy  turned  to  look  at  the  other,  but  found  that  kieran’s  worried  gaze  was  fixed  on  his  side.  seems  that  blood  had  begun  seep  through  where  a  knife  had  caught  him  earlier.  the  makeshift  patching  teddy  had  done  to  himself  that  ‘would  hold  until  camp’  seemed  to  have  done  just  that,  and  nothing  more.  

       the  smile  teddy  wore  on  his  face  when  entering  the  bar  had  begun  to  disappear  little  by  little  as  he  took  in  the  surroundings.  more  than  ten  men  lay  across  the  floor.  some  unconscious,  others  groaning  from  the  pain  inflicted  upon  them  by,  what  teddy  could  only  guess  was,  mac  callander.  him  being  the  only  one  standing  and  all.  the  bartender  was  crouched  behind  the  bar.  hiding  along  with  him  were  a  few  woman.  speechless,
