I just want to start off by saying this will easily be the lamest blog post I will make but I need to start somewhere.
So as of right now nobody is following my blog and I guess that means I’m talking to myself technically right?.. But what else is new? I was told so much growing up that I cope...
Read Dom's blogÂ
I like this song.
"Book cover exhibited weak plotting and nearly non-existent characterization"
ummm don't judge a book by its cover?
Sorry for the buzz kill on the last post. Hope you bounce back. -Spackman

I'm not that proud of this, but i have to admit... I really like the show "Big Brother". It's always been a guilty pleasure of mine, I love curling up three times a week to watch these "randomly selected contestants" play out their high drama versions of The Truman Show. Being a fan of this show is something that I could say I am borderline ashamed of. We are about two weeks into this season, so far the biggest story coming out of the house is the amount of racism from a select amount of contestants. There are two girls in the house who have been obnoxiously mean to a couple of the visible minorities in the house. The comments they have said have lead to them being warned by CBS, alienated by the house, FIRED from their modelling jobs (in the real world) and more. The attached clip is the latest drama that has happened. Normally I wouldn't write about something like this on this blog, but it was something that has been on my mind all day. At what point does CBS have to step in and take action to stop further hate. I might be making a big deal out of this. But it's what's on my mind. ... Or does CBS secretly want this to continue. After all we ARE talking about them now... I'm out. -spackman

BOOZE MAP!!
Song of the Day Year?Â
Anyone who really knows me knows that I grew up listening to pop punk/alt rock artists like Blink 182, Brand New, Fall Out Boy, and Taking Back Sunday. Now as I get older I've learned to appreciate other genres...even country (another blog, for another day). Nowadays, I tend to be drawn to any song that I can to relate to (maybe that's why I listen to country now.. who doesn't like songs about pretty girls and drinking) or songs that get my blood flowing so I feel like I can run through a brick wall when I'm at the gym.
I digress, about a month or two ago I heard the song "Passing Through a Screen Door" by the Wonder Years. It definitely falls into the category of a song I can relate to. I won't get into the lyrics because I posted the lyric video but holy shit... that's pretty close to my life when it comes to relationships and dating//following my career goals.Â
The song chugs along quite nicely and it's super catchy... seriously, try to make your head not bob along... then out of no where, the breakdown.Â
Jesus Christ. I’m 26. All the people I graduated with All have kids, all have wives, All have people who care if they come home at night. Jesus Christ, did I fuck up?
You know that feeling when you're listening to a song and you're like "holy shit, that's like about me". I totally had one of those moments when I heard that. Man, it's so good.Â
I was kind of hoping you’d stay.
Again.. wow. This one hit me at the right place, right time (another blog, another day? doubt it). Anyways, this song is fucking awesome. Song of the Year potential.Â
I probably won't always be this introspective with these blogs, in fact tomorrow I'm gonna go the complete other way. I just wanted to share this song for the 20 of you that have found this.Â

this is funny to me..... don't care what you think.

Here is my first useful link that i will share with everyone.Â
Deezer is one of many music streaming sites which have recently emerged out of no where. it used to be that when a new album was released we would ask ourselves "should i pay 13$ and download this from iTunes, or should i download a bootleg copy and pay nothing". These new sites like Deezer give a good alternative to this conundrum.Â
Deezer first offers a trial of their services for one month. you can stream any song, any album, any artist on demand from your PC, your smart phone or your tablet. it also offers "offline modes" which allows you to listen to you selected music even when there is no internet available (essentially giving you an Mp3 copy of the song for your device)
once the trial membership is over, they charge 5 dollars per month to continue to stream all the music you want.Â
it is an interesting concept, i have used it for several months now and i have no issues with it. if apps like this one grow in popularity, they could have a real chance at demolishing the monopoly that iTunes currently has on digital music purchasing.Â
try it out.Â

Better Late....
Day one and the boss is already breathing down my neck about productivity. this sounds like it is going to be fun.
SONG OF THE DAY! So Spackman is a lazy dick and didn't do his blog post like he said he would. Pretty awesome start for him. Anyways, here is today's song of the day. I've always loved Jay-Z but when you add the soulful sounds of Justin Timberlake... pretty close to perfect.
