THE ELEMENTAL .

     “they are certainly a popular topic of conversation lately.”  his grin tilted with more amusement as he stood to his feet. he had a strange, inexplicable urge to run through the snow, wondering if it’d be quite different than running in sand. i haven’t done very much of that either.  “my mother said i stole fire from ra himself before my birth. perhaps i was faster than you, even then.” 

1)  he grew up on the streets of cairo with a single mother until she died. then he got passed around from family member to family member because nobody really wanted him.  2)  his uncle only kept him because he discovered benjamin had legit magic (he could already manipulate and control fire). he also trained him in singing and dancing and basic street performing to make money.  3)  benjamin did not FIND tia to turn her. he found her because he loved her and worried for her, and he just wanted to make sure she was alright. 

     he laughed a little, toying with the tiny flames on his fingers absentmindedly.  “i don’t know. i find the wolves a rather calming presence myself.”  they all spoke of the werewolves’ ‘stench,’ even with the creatures offering their aide, but they didn’t bother benjamin. he’d always liked dogs.    //    @musesatyourservice  /  SC  ;  accepting 

     “tia and i thought to travel a bit before returning home.”  perhaps they would not return to amun and his temple, to that smothering life underground, at all.  “but i wondered if you might teach me a bit about this strange ‘diet’ of yours and your family’s before i go.”    //    @multimentium  /  SC  ;  accepting 

     he’d barely caught a glimpse of the seer until they returned to the cullens’ home.  “you are alice.”  he’d heard little about carlisle cullen’s interesting family until arrival; he’d heard little about anything outside of amun’s temple until this little misadventure.    //    @oraculumin  /  SC  ;  accepting 

     he knelt and scooped up a handful of snow, using some light wind to toss and swirl the powder above and between his hands. he watched it with fascination, a grin over his face as renesmee laughed.  “i have never seen snow before.”  he turned to the wolf at his shoulder.  “i like it better than sand.”    //    @olympicwolf  /  SC  ;  accepting
