hi anon !! i can’t give you a date or anything but i promise oblivion isn’t an abandoned project. it is coming. sorry for the vagueness, but progress has been slow since ive been focusing on my other fandoms for now.

i know it’s not as good as an update but i thought i’d share a couple songs from my playlist for oblivion in case anyone’s at all interested:

• first day of my life by bright eyes — this is definitively an edward song in my mind, it just helps me get into his headspace pretty quickly!

• lullabye (goodnight, my angel) by billy joel — when @kellythepitiablefangirl told me about this song i almost died bc of how perfect it is for edward, and it breaks my heart during every single listen 🥺

• coming back to you by leonard cohen — if i were to condense edward’s thoughts during the time he was away from bella into one song, it would be this one… it’s just so full of sadness and grief and talks about wanting to come back to someone but just not being able to. it makes me v sad!!

and this is only secondary to not having ideas, but theres never a time when i dont come back and someone in the tags hasnt said smth snide or otherwise mean-spirited under my edits so it just feels like???? idk!!!! doesnt seem worth it to put content out anymore if ppl are gonna respond like that? so yeah. i participate in fandom as a way to escape into a positive space and i feel like when you like twilight there’s this expectation of like “oh you get how ridiculous it is to stan twilight right? haha yeah we’re all in on the same joke” and i’m just not interested in that take… so what if it’s cringe? everything is cringe!!!!! be proudly cringe !!!! stop telling me what to cringe and not cringe at!
