I just don't think we ever wrapped up the Clown Sightings of 2016 in a satisfactory way.
I'm not well versed in Clown biology, but if they're anything like cicadas, they can be dormant for a long period of time. Was that part of "It" or am I creating a memory?
Anyway, it's just a matter of waiting for the next wave of sightings, and then we should hopefully have a better idea of the pattern.
I'm not going to volunteer to try and sedate one to tag it and do proper research when that happens, but you should totally do so. I'd love to read all about it!
If you don't, we may have to wait a long time if the next wave doesn't provide a sample collected as roadkill. Misidentification by a hunter for a game animal seems slight.
