These whales have never been moved before. I will be amazed if they all get through the move without any health issues getting exacerbated. A lot of them are inbred, they likely have congenital diseases.

These facilities really don’t need any more animals. They know this.

They also know that they’re now going to have to deal with the unhinged people attached to Marineland.

If Canada was so keen on seeing sanctuaries they should have built them instead of sign in a ridiculously misinformed bill and call it a day.

Marineland Canada was severely mismanaged, that much is clear. It should never have gotten this bad. But the activist groups harassing the facility certainly didn’t help in the slightest. And they are STILL clinging onto the idea of a sanctuary that doesn’t exist.

Today (20 July 2026), the first six belugas left the Marineland Canada property with a police escort. Four are headed for SeaWorld San Antonio, while the other two will journey to Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium.

As this undertaking is so massive, it will occur in stages. Over the course of the next few weeks, the remaining 24 whales (and 4 Black Sea bottlenose dolphins) will depart Marineland for their new homes at AZA-accredited aquariums in the United States and Spain.

Sorry for the late date. I had a busy week and this next one will also be quite busy.

Now about the artwork. For motives, I saw NazRigar post two renditions of this meme and I went "Maybe I should join this art trend too." Second, originally the species featured were supposed to be somewhat to scale but the miscalculation on my part made it impossible.

One last thing, originally Conquest was supposed to be a Continental Leucrocotta, but then I realised there's a Daydreamer subspecies that's called Warmongers... whose look is quite threatening... and that one part of their culture was ritual scarring... and one prominent individual was BLIND ON ONE EYE... The're were to many paralers to ignore.
