The Teumessian Fox was a giant, man eating fox sent by the gods to prey upon the children of Thebes as a punishment for a national crime. The fox was destined to never be caught, so after many failed attempts of destroying it, the magical dog Laelaps - who was destined to catch everything it chased - was set to capture it. Zeus, who realised the paradoxical nature of the two beasts, turned the pair into stone and cast them into the stars where they remain today - Canis Minor (Teumessian Fox) and Canis Major (Laelaps).

A picture of a baby allosaurus that was wandering around the outside of the  Morrison compound. He had been wandering around the compound for days  calling for his mother before he finally collapsed from heat exhaustion. Some of the researchers on duty quickly brought him in out of the heat and nourished him back to health. The team leader was aware of a nesting allosaurus in the area but since she hadn’t been seen for several days it was assumed she had died. The team has since decided to raise the little allosaurus until he is strong enough to be returned to the wild and they have decided to name him Alexander.

A baby argentinosaurus scans the forest floor for danger. One day if she’s lucky she’ll grow so large no predator on earth will be able to touch her.
