"The World's Future" in a Celtic Cross Spread.
1 - The Present: Ten of pentacles reversed. The world, or rather, humanity that rules it, does so through falsehoods. Most of humanity are living under the lies of those more powerful than us, or perhaps they are lying to themselves. "What I do won't make a difference." Or "This small act means nothing." These are lies, for if everyone were to give small acts to the world, it would become a much larger one. Furthermore, we are stuck being ruled by money, so much so that it has taken away our freedom, our sense of life. Bankruptcy has taken its toll on humanity in more ways than one.
2 - The Challenge: The Tower reversed. A transformation is coming to the world. You will be forced to question the truths you once held high. There will be turmoil, you will ask why the timing was so imperfect. But know that the tower indicates a change that needs to happen, and once its over, you will find peace again. Though the enlightening experience can be unpleasant, take comfort in knowing you've narrowly avoided potential disaster. Take this opportunity to rebuild your future.
3. The Past: The Emperor upright. This card asks that you don't become highly opinionated. However this card is repsenting the past, signifying the fact that this is exactly what has happened.. everyone has become far too involved in every little thing, even if it has nothing to do with them. The card warns not to lose your humanity and empathy, but this was in the past. It feels to me as though that this warning has already been ignored by most. The leaders that are repsented by the emperor who took control in the past have lead us to a corrupt society.
4 - The Future: The Queen of Pentacles upright. Humanity will be rewarded for its actions dedicated towards saving the planet. The world, and the people in it, will find a new sense of balance and financial/home stability. Though you're new found wealth is exciting, (wealth is a concept) you must work to maintain it and your peace. Deal fairly with those around you and create a calm, nurturing space for yourself and others. Spread kindness now that the turmoil of the world has ended.
5 - Goals: The Star reversed. The star reversed represents a goal of testing humanity. There has been a loss of Faith that has permeated every aspect of humanities lives. Hardships sprout without reason and your bitterness has worn you down. This will be a trying time for us. Creativity and passion will be lost for a while as this change happens in our world. People may feel fear, but know that as long as your heart is true, you will be safe.
6 - Internal Influence: Temperance upright. This card warns to resist the urge to be highly opinionated or favor one extreme over another. However seeing as this card is representing the 6th in the Celtic Cross. Its stating that that is exactly what we have done, and it is one of the largest reasons our world is coming to this. People have failed to see all points of view, or perhaps they never cared to try, and this neglect has forced our world to take such a chaotic turn for the worse.
7 - Taking Action: Knight of Wands reversed. You are filled with an undercurrent of energy and need ways to express it. Being impulsive will only lead to dissatisfaction. Be tactful in your efforts. This card also represents volatility. The world is changing quickly and for the worse. (I know you scoffed and said no sh*t, me too.) Make careful attempts of fixing the little things. Help the homeless, stand up for someone. Don't be afraid. Confidence is your greatest ally.
8 - External Influences: The Fool upright. The world is changing so that we may be free, so that humanity can regain its one loss sense of fun, innocence, and spontaneity. Worries will be few once these changes have happened. These external influences are those that demand the world change for the better, and they are out of our control. Fate has decided now is the time for The Fool to reign our world, so that happiness may abound. Be prepared to embrace this change, its coming no matter what.
9 - Hopes and Fears: Page of Wands upright. After the turmoil this world is about to go through, most of those who are good for this world will find a hope for a time of energy, enthusiasm, and exploration. We are ready to accept a new journey full of excitement and mystery. Restlessness will occur, even as I speak I now feel restless and eager for this journey. Creativity and spirituality will need an outlet. A new path is opening and your energy will urge you to take it. You should. All for advice if you're hesitant, and find the confidence in yourself to take this step forward. You won't regret it.
10 - Result: Six of Swords upright. Though the card looks dark, notice how the swords are peircing through this frightening creature is the depths, destroying the monsters lurking in the dark. This card represents a time of healing after everything is over. The evil is gone, and now is the time for the world to renew itself. The good people here have a chance to survive, a chance to save our world. Nature will flourish, humanity will be kind once again. History will be made and humanity reminded of the punishment for evil. You have survived the crisis and you're now on your way to well-earned peace. Reach within and summon your faith, be that in God, the Greek/Norse/etc Pantheons, yourself, the world, the future. Anything. A new era has begun, and you are all worthy of it.
