Sure! I apologize for any of the annoying AI voicework in these videos, but it was the visuals that were the most helpful for me! I also want to point out practically every video on my list is related to lighting and color work! I feel like I (mostly) got a good handle on anatomy and perspective, so all my focus was lighting/color experimentation!

Video about monochromatic shading: This was one of the main videos I used with the Frieren piece. I didn't color pick anything from an actual drawing of her, I just tried to keep to purples and blues. Usually I color pick, so this was a fun challenge and tested me!

Two of my biggest art inspirations are Yoneyama Mai, and Mika Pikazo! I studied a lot of Pikazo's work, but lately I've noticed a weak spot in terms of high-contrast lighting? I wanted to figure out how artists make light POP, so I got a bunch of those on my feed.

Sylvano is the deuteragonist and the current heir of one of the world’s most influential families — the Verducci family. With extensive connections across the globe, this family ensures that politicians do not abuse their power over people. Usually, this is achieved through peaceful means, but some individuals are so rotten and corrupt that only drastic measures can solve the problem. Sylvano gladly takes on the role of an executioner for the greater good.

In civilian life, he is a photographer who has earned several awards for his incredible pictures, especially those related to weather phenomena. Sylvano often risks his life to capture the perfect shot, for instance, standing a bit too close to a tornado or climbing structures for a better angle. His strong physique and protective trinkets (such as the one he wears under his shirt, which shields him from high‑velocity projectiles) keep him safe most of the time, though he ends up in the hospital from time to time. Sylvano simply gets into the zone when he’s working, which can impair his awareness of his surroundings.

That’s how he met Anlyf one day. He was standing at the edge of a cliff, taking pictures of rare cloud formations during a windstorm. He was so used to strong winds that he didn’t notice the storm was getting dangerous until he heard someone calling him. He then saw a Nyxelf around his age, looking concerned. After some convincing  (and Sylvano nearly falling off the cliff due to an unexpected gust) he decided to come with her.

The pair struggled through the storm, but fortunately for them, Sylvano’s house was nearby, so he invited her to stay with him and his family. Sylvano’s parents thanked Anlyf for helping their son, as he had a tendency to put himself in danger to take incredible pictures.

They quickly became friends, sharing an interest in the horror genre and video games, and grew close over the years. Some people think they are in a romantic relationship, which confuses them. Both of them don’t experience any kind of romantic attraction and have an aversion to certain courting rituals, ike kissing a partner’s mouth (to Anlyf, it’s weird; to Sylvano, it’s outright gross). At the same time, they show each other a lot of affection and feel comfortable together. There is no doubt they love each other, just in a different way.

In the present day, Sylvano is preparing to take over the Verducci family and is waiting for the approval of his uncle — the current head of the family. This makes him anxious, as he fears he won’t be as good a leader as the previous heads of the family. His parents and Anlyf think otherwise, citing his gentle and compassionate nature, along with his brave and adventurous spirit, as qualities that will guide him well. Plus, Anlyf has promised she’ll stay by his side no matter what, this puts his mind at ease. In downtime he creates content with Anlyf. Together, they work on various crafts, mostly related to resin and wood, and also take pictures of space.

I finally finished Anlyf's reference sheet. I experimented a bit and very like the result! She's a magical girl, so her civilian and magical outfits shown.✨ And I updated her info ~

Anlyf is the protagonist, who wields the power to summon and fuse with dragon‑like creatures to aid her in battles against Reflections — hostile embodiments of one’s trauma created by an accidental resonance with a Cosmic Beast.

Her past is a mystery. Anlyf was found inside a crystal in a cave by a team of explorers. The crystal shell shattered upon contact, revealing her. She didn’t remember anything about herself except her name. They spent the next year and a half recovering and learning simple things like walking and using tools.

Medical and psychological evaluations concluded that she was at least 21 years old at that time, though her behaviour often perplexed the medical staff. For example, she was curious about everything in the world like a child, while simultaneously exhibiting wisdom beyond her years as if she had lived for centuries. It is theorised that this might be a result of her amnesia, as Anlyf forgot everything except her name and a basic understanding of the sciences.

Soon, she enrolled at the Lunaria Engineering Physics Institute to study theoretical physics. Around this time, she met Sylvano, the heir of the Verducci family.
