Hi everyone! This is the start of our new journey: War is over.

James Anderson, a young delinquent from the North East of England, is sent by his aunt to the Whitwood Institute, hoping that the strict rules of this prestigious boarding school will set him straight.  But James’ hatred of authority only grows as he sees his freedom curtailed.  So he comes up with the idea of a game, a secret game that would pull him out of this new, dreary life and force his new friends to break the school’s rules as well. The Great Hunt.

But soon, intoxicated by the freedom that the Game gives them, the Hunt becomes powerful, violent. It is not a game anymore.

The War is Over is a webcomic set in the UK during the late 1950s. Please note that this setting has a strong influence on the opinions and acts of all the characters.

This webcomic is not recommended for people with a low tolerance for psychological and physical violence. Although there is no gore, some scenes may make them uncomfortable.

Here’s an artwork I did for the comic! It’s also the moment to know a bit more about it, beside the rating I’ve already discussed:

The story begins with an imaginary meeting between Paul and John in September 1980. Despite the tensions, they try to work out all the misunderstandings and hurtful things they have done to each other since they first met. Although it follows, mostly, the way events happened in their lives, there are obviously a lot of completely invented situations, so it’s pure slash and definitely not my take on reality.
