John Lennon thought he was cursed to have all the men he loved in his life leave him. His father left when he was 5, his Uncle George (who, along with his Aunt Mimi, had been raising John since his father left) died when he was 14, his best friend Stuart Sutcliffe died when he was 21, and Beatles manager Brian Epstein died when John was 26.
