Paul's youngest child looks so much like him it is honestly so fucking insane. It is his clone. It blows me away every time dude.
keep a picture of him in a locket
“John had always been a man of intense but often fleeting enthusiasms. Moreover, he had been acting peculiarly recently…Barely twenty four hours earlier, for example, he had decided in all seriousness that he was Jesus Christ…This revelation had cone to John during an LSD trip, but he was no less convinced of it when he woke up the following day…He insisted on immediately convening a meeting of the apple inner circle - the three other Beatles, plus Shotton, Neil Aspinall, and Derek Taylor. When John announced the news, they were stunned into silence; they could see that he meant it. Thus no one laughed or challenged his declaration. Rather, they agreed that this declaration was too important to deal with hastily; what was needed was time to reflect upon its implications. And meanwhile, couldn’t everybody use a quick drink or three? John soon forgot about his Christ fixation, as the others no doubt hoped he would.”

the beatles: infographic [x]
1988: John’s boyhood friend Pete Shotton recalls a sad, late-night encounter with John after Julia’s death.
PETE: It was a very bad period for him. [pause] In fact, I remember finding him on a bus, one night. I was coming home late, and he’d been on this – he was laying on the back seat of the bus upstairs, just like out of his head, unconscious – and he’d been on this bus for like, two hours, you know. [laughs] And backwards and forwards to the terminal, backwards and forwards. And I just kind of carried him off the bus and carried him over to Mendips, and got him up to bed and put him in.
Yeah, it was a bad time for him. But – you see, he didn– he never allowed anybody to see it. He always fought, he never – I never remember him complaining, or moaning, about anything in his life. He always – took it like a man, folks, you know what I mean, right? He was that type. He was strong, he wouldn’t give up, show any weakness if he could help it. Or he came through with incredible strength, as he always did.

Interesting that Juliette Greco was a muse to John and Paul but the way they talk about her is like, John finding her as the ideal love and Paul wanting to BE like her. Just interesting….🫠
John—“I'd always had a fantasy about a woman who would be a beautiful, intelligent, dark-haired, high-cheek-boned, free-spirited artist (à la Juliette Greco). My soul mate.”
Paul—“Juliette Greco was actually who you wanted to be like, even though she was a girl[…]” “So I used to sit around and murmur. It was my Maurice Chevalier meets Juliette Greco moment: me trying to be enigmatic[…]”
Insane, isn't it? [x] He already IS that person.
It reminds me exactly of Yoko saying of John: “I think he had a desire to [have sex with men], but I think he was too inhibited. No, not inhibited. He said, ‘I don’t mind if there’s an incredibly attractive guy.’ It’s very difficult: they would have to be not just physically attractive, but mentally very advanced too. And you can’t find people like that." [x]
As if that doesn't exactly describe Paul McCartney, his creative partner who is considered a brilliant mind and legendary musical genius.
Not to mention that time that Paul was describing Yoko, and sounded like he could be describing himself: "I thought she was a hard woman. I don't think she is now. [. . .] I think she's a very loving, caring woman. I thought she was pushy, which I think is wrong- don't think she is. I think she's just herself. She's determined more than some other people to be herself. Other people will just give in. She won't." [x]
Or some other glaring similarities between him and Yoko, period. Yoko was right to say if Paul were a woman he'd be a great threat. Bc it would have been over, done deal, no excuses, no illusions.

We’ve just finished our press conference in Milwaukee. John has a sore throat and wants to save his voice for the show, so he didn’t participate in the conference. We’re looking forward to the show.
