I have an eye

Due to the sun overtime irradiating this world's surface, making it almost inhospitable in certain parts of the earth. Stark Industries, has decided to step up and deploy cloaks of artificial rain cloud in salvagable parts of the world. New sun protection techs were made and sold to the public, and most important being the serums that is being distributed to assist the people with their passive life against any contact with the radiation.

The new serum developed by Stark Industries promised the people it would not only protect them against the radiation but also lengthen their life span (average now being only 30 - 40 at best, even with the serums intervention).Aye, at least all of the experiments, pojects and potentially very harmful, possibly psychologically and physically scarring side effects are publicly announce, no way they would lie to the people.....Right?

La Mostola Pulchra or just known as Paul (nickname) to their close friend, is the last thing that is anywhere close to being a "spiderman", the Avenger would certainly agree if they were still around.

Paul is cocky, underachieving with average grades at best, barely passing their second year at university. Asked as a favor for a friend, Paul agreed to be the lab rat for the new serum Stark Industries was developing, or more accurately their friend, Jamey, was developing.

Being an ambitious new hired he decided to tweak the new formula a bit with just "a smidge" of symbiote he had stolen from the lab. Nothing happen, not anything they could see. They decided to give it another 24h to see if anything would happen to them. Jameson wasn't too happy, not because his roommate thankfully didn't die from this back alley testing but because Paul seems relatively "normal". Usually the serum will boost a person immunity not only to the radiation but also their entire physique and immune system. Paul is just Paul, they feel no different, seem no different. Frustrated, Jamey just went off to the lab to brainstorm some more.

Paul jolted awake from their nap.

Staggered into the bathroom, as they hit the light, their head started to ache, like needle poking and proding into their brain.

Their eyes squinted looking into the mirror.

The light inside the bathroom was too bright and Paul can hear almost if not all of the sounds coming from the building and streets, the chaos mixing into an overwhelming screech. Their head hurts, their body aches. The abrupt horrid feeling of fingers dancing across their back, like spiders crawling up their spine, pulling at their flesh and skin looking for an escape, writhing, morphing, intruding. Everything was too bright, too loud, too painful, too much, too much, too much-

Then it all stopped. Serenity, the light dimmed, the sounds muffled, the chaos just stopped.

Relief. Was all that Paul has felt, maybe they should be a bit more worry, maybe they should be calling Jamey since, whatever that was, was definitely the serum doing. But no, all Paul felt now was hunger clawing at their stomach.

Fuck it, they can tell Jamey about when he gets back.

Now the fridge. Walking out of the bathroom, their arms accidentally hitting the door frame, sending a jolt down their back......How did that happen.....maybe it's just in their head...

Welp that's all the things that I've written for now, Idk why I locked in like that.

Maybe it's just the ADHD trying to make me avoid cleaning my room.....
