An Omakase That Never Ends

Carter approached his sidekick as she parked her vespa. "Este!"

"Gah! Carter?! Why the f*** do you look like that?!" she shrieked.

"Not so loud...I'm in disguise," answered Carter.

"In this guy's...WHAT?!"

"No! Listen. I got a tip that we should do some reconnaissance by the Roman baths."

Este cocked her head in puzzlement. "Carter, I know that you're a smart guy, but you're getting confused. The public baths were around before the Renaissance- and I'm pretty sure that they were stationary."

"Re-con-nais-sance, you fool," Carter groaned. "And 'Roman' as in the city that we're visiting. Are you quite finished? If you wish to write a letter back home, there's stationery in our hotel room. If you'll excuse me..."

"There goes our perp!" Carter exclaimed. "After him!" The intrepid pair dashed around the street corner with gusto.

"Look!" said Este. "He's taking the briefcase into that laundromat. Why would he do such a thing?"

"Perhaps," Carter mused, "there's a secret staircase that leads into the Mafia's underground hideout. Let's be careful."

"Don't worry about me, Carter. One way or another...we've got to stop him from laundering that money!"

She's everything.

"Well, this is where the ransom note said that we should go," Carter observed.

"But where should we leave the money, Boss?" asked Este.

"I need to decode the last line, but it'll be at a designated point within Sleeping Beauty Castle. Come on. We'll get there faster if we hop on the monorail."

"Monorail? Does this mean that our kidnapper has a one-track mind?"
