trans mens rights are also rooted in womens rights and people do not understand what i mean by that and get really weird about it. until issues like reproductive healthcare, domestic abuse, rape, child marriage/forced pregnancy, corrective rape, ect. are no longer considered womens rights, then trans mens rights will also be rooted in womens rights, because we are affected by all that and more and typically have a way more complicated relationship with these things than women do on account of being trans men

my mom, who claims to be very trans supportive (and they/them pronouns inclusive!) is currently making fun of it/its pronouns.
after hearing that her friends kid uses them, (the parent was in the room) she continued to say how stupid they were

it really pisses me off when adults sit there and drill it into kids’ heads that their youth is fleeting and tell them things like “enjoy your childhood while it lasts because this is the best it’s gonna get”. why are you telling children that adulthood is the worse thing they can experience? seriously what the fuck is wrong with you, why are you trying to make them feel like growing up is a fate worse than death? trying to convince them their life is over before it even begins? i’m tired of that shit. because tell my why my 12 year old cousin told me when she turns 30 she’ll be so depressed she’s just gonna cry all the time. what the fuck. kids don’t need to hear that their already stressful and overwhelming lives are never going to get better, that the abuse and lack of autonomy they face is apparently the highlight of their lives. they need to hear about adults who are happy to be alive and happy to have made it to their age. they need to know that growing up rules, it’s a gift and life does not have to suck for them, that they have a future that’s worth sticking around for. this rhetoric is so damaging mentally and i’m about to start hitting the adults who parrot it. i’m sorry you hate your life but you don’t get to dump your issues on these kids. don’t piss me off and leave these babies alone!

i just saw a post on twitter discussing the current horrors that ice might start targeting trans people now. and they only mentioned trans woman, not even in fleeting sentence. but that trans woman will be effected by this
trans men of colour especially black and brown trans men has been targeted by ice for months now and has been placed in labour camps + SA happening in those facilities.
I'm not saying trans woman have not been effected by ice or that this is going to put them in any less danger. I would actually say that trans woman will be just as effected by this as trans men.
but it was really disgusting to see a cis allies try and be progressive while silencing the screams and cries of black and brown trans men who has pulled the alarm clock so many times about ice.
it´s just frustrating that cis "allies" just do not care for trans men especially trans men of colour which are part of the most marginalized people in our community
ice will now target trans people, ice will target all trans people, ice will especially target poc black and brown trans people.
we need to stand together against them not just for ourself but for the people that is going to be the most effected by this. we are nothing without the community.
