Conrad was extremely tired. Was he tired of the beach? No, was he tired of lounging around and playing video games with his brother? No of course not. He was tired that all summer he would be forced to use his right hand when it came to pleasuring himself. On top of that, he had a very attractive and available girlfriend, you.
âAll Iâm asking for is a blow job please baby..â His whispered confession sent chills down your spine. âBabe, that would defeat our whole plan.â You giggled peppering kisses down his neck. Conrad was sprawled out on his bed, you straddling him. âYeah, and Iâm starting to regret that fucking plan.â He muttered as you accidentally pushed down onto his lap giving much needed attention towards his dick. âOops sorry.â you said, once you felt his current predicament in his swim trunks.
âYouâre such a tease I swear!â He groaned gripping your hips tighter attempting to move you over his lap some more. Feeling confident, you rolled your hips in a slow circle as your hands were placed on his chest. The way his eyes rolled into the back of his head, and the way he cursed under his breath had you hot. Flashes of you riding him into oblivion were the only thing planted in your mind right now.
And that damn turquoise bikini you were wearing, was gonna be the death of your boyfriend. The material did wonders for your curves, the color making your skin pop. Conrad slowly brought his hand up towards your neck, his fingers stopping at the gold plated name necklace that sat on top of your breasts. It read âConradâ having his name around your neck did something to him every-time. You were his, and he was yours.
âY/n come hurry!!â Bellyâs excited voice stopped your movements on Conradâs lap.
He groaned, belly had the worst timing. âI have to go sorry babyyyyy.â You stretched the word out as you struggled breaking free from his lap due to the tight grip he had on your hips. âAre you not going to do something about this, youâve caused it.â Conrad pleaded pointing down to his lap. Finally standing you looked down into his lap, your hand came over your mouth masking your laugh.
âMust be so HARD to deal with connie.â You pouted leaning down placing a chaste kiss onto his lips. Conrad grumbled as you walked out the door calling out to belly. He stood laying on his bed for only a minute before he stomped towards the bathroom, ready to take care of his problem himself.
~
You were really taking this plan super seriously and he was struggling. It all started the night before you arrived at cousins beach for the summer. Back home, you and conrad were able to have as much sex as yâall wanted with out any fear of being caught. But the beach house was packed full, this summer you both agreed to stay celibate you both would make it three months right?
Wrong. Wrong. Wrong
You seemed not to have any problems with it, but Conrad was suffering. You werenât helping at all either. He knew that you were teasing him on purpose, wearing all the bikinis heâs had sex with you in. Or when youâd âaccidentallyâ rub up on his lap when you were moving to grab something. God you were in so much trouble when these three months were up.
Right now had really done it for him though. All of you were currently in the living room, that being Jeremiah, Steven, belly including you and Conrad. Staying in for a movie night was your idea and everyone agreed. âPut away the damn phone y/n itâs movie night!â Steven yelled throwing a popcorn at you. It landed right in your lap, you laughed putting your phone away.
Conrad didnât miss the smirk you sent his way and he furrowed his eyebrows what were you up to? A minute later when everyone was immersed in the movie is when Conrad decided to take a peek at his phone. Immediately all blood rushed to his lower area when he read the text you sent him.
Y/n <3 : sooo horny rn baby
Y/n <3 : remember that night back at home when we were at the movie theaters and you fingered me?
Y/n <3 : really really wanna recreate that right now.
Conrad was up out of his seat, eyes set on you. âWhatâs wrong baby?â You acted innocent like you didnât just send him three dirty text messages in a row. âEverything alright bro?â Jeremiah paused the movie, all eyes were now on Conrad as he stared you down fuming. âI need to talk to you letâs goâ he pointed towards his bedroom, his breathing rapid like he was planning on doing so much to you behind that bedroom door.
âWhat? No! Iâm watching the movie.â You sunk lower into the couch cuddling up next to belly who smiled at your affection. Conrad looked as if was about to pass out, all the built up aggression begging to be released.
âMaybe you should go to the bathroom you look like your getting sick connie.â You cooed with a smirk. He cursed under his breath as he stomped towards the bathroom, and you were the only one who noticed him trying to hide his very obvious boner. But you werenât that evil, as Conrad locked himself in the bathroom preparing to relive himself his phone went off again.
Y/n <3 : ur so easy to rile up! took these for you last night enjoy, my love
Y/n <3 : 10 ATTACHMENTS
Conrad was blown away, staring at him was your nudes. He was gonna be in the bathroom all night.

Summary: coming back to Cousins for the summer after skipping out last year after a rough breakup with your ex-boyfriend, conrad fisher. you hoped that maybe both he and his family had forgotten about you, but it seems like youâre in for a treat.
Warnings: lots of dialogue. swearing. angsty mention of a breakup. little kiss. fluffy ending tho. UNEDITED
a/n: the timeline that i have doesn't fully match with the actual series. also if you feel like you're seeing this twice it's because this was going to be two parts but i ended up liking it as one!
word count. 3.5k
âYouâre coming back this year, no more moping around about it, and thatâs final,â your mom tells you.
âBut what am I even suppose to do this summer while Iâm there, itâs not like I have anything planned.â
âActually, I signed you up to be a big sister this year for the debutante ball.â
âWait, what?â you question.
âI knew you would say something like that so I got you something to do while weâre there.â
âFine, whatever.â
You were sat at table two by Paige, the lady hosting the event and instructor. All the girls were mainly welcoming to you. Asking you questions like if this was your first time in Cousins and why they havenât seen you around. You brushed off a majority of the questions but told them that you had skipped out last year due to college admissions. Which wasnât a complete lie since you went to go tour universities like Upenn, Columbia, NYU, and Yale. You got early admission into Columbia and it started beginning of July of last year.Â
You learned the girls' names which are Nicole, Shayla, Gigi, and a couple others. You tried your best to not give a reaction when they mentioned the infamous Conrad and Jeremiah Fisher. You noticed the chair next to you was still open at your table.Â
âHey, are we missing anybody?â you asked the girls.
âYeah, this girl is a new deb this year,â Nicole replied to you.
Out of the corner of your eye, you see Belly Conklin and Jeremiah Fisher walking into the room. You wanted to sink down to the floor to disappear but it was too late. You saw Jeremiah dodge Paige and make his way towards you all giddy. You saw the girls around the table slightly fix their dresses thinking he was coming toward them. You keep your eyes glued down to the table but looked up the second he called your name. What a rookie mistake.
âY/N! Youâre back, man, Conrad is not going to believe this. We missed you last summer. Are you back for good or you going to disappear again?â he rambles to you as he gets closer. He hugs you from behind your chair and kisses your cheek. You blush immediately and notice that Gigi is glaring at you from the table.
âHey, Jere,â you mumble out.
âIâm glad, youâre here.â
âYou know, me too,â you found yourself admitting out loud.
âOkay, I gotta go before Paige has me kicked out, but Iâll text you,â he says rushing out the door.
âHi, Bells,â you greet the oh-so-familiar girl taking a seat next to you.
âHey, Y/N,â she replies, smiling at you.Â
âSo when were you going to tell us that you know, a certain lifeguardâŚâ Nicole teases you, trying to ease the tension at the table.Â
âFamily friend, you know.â
âBut thatâs it, right?â Gigi asks you.
âYeah, of course. Heâs like my little brother.â
âY/N, wait up!â you hear from behind you seeing Belly.
âBelly?â
âI donât want to push you or anything, but I just want to you know that I think Conrad would really enjoy a visit from you, we all would,â she says bashfully looking down to her feet.Â
âBells, I miss you too, but he was the one who broke up with me, remember? I donât think thatâs the best idea.â
âThink about it, okay?â she tries again
âMaybe.â
âCONRAD, GUESS WHAT!â Jere yells barging into Conradâs room.Â
âWhat, Jere?â Conrad says, tiredly looking at him from his bed.
âSheâs back.â
âWhoâs back?â Conrad questions him.
âWho else, Y/N!â as those words left Jeremiahâs mouth, Conrad found himself getting whiplash from getting up so quickly.
âYou sure, it wasnât some girl that just looked like her?â he asked.
âOh, it was her,â he hears Belly add from the hallway.Â
âYouâre shitting, me,â Conrad says exasperated falling back down to his bed.Â
âDingâ Jeremiah takes his phone out of his pocket to look at the text message he had just got. He looks to Conrad who had his head stuffed into a pillow then went back out of the hallway to call for Belly.Â
âHey, Belly, you wanna go get ice cream with, Y/N?â that got the attention of quite a few people in the house.
âOf course, when?â âWait, Y/Nâs back?â âYouâre going where?â all directed towards Jeremiah who seemed occupied on his phone texting back.Â
âBells, later before dinner so like in 20-30 mins. Steven, yeah, we saw her today at the deb lunch thing. And, umm, Conrad, weâre going out with Y/N,â Jeremiah blurts out in a rush.Â
âYou think I could go?â Conrad asks.Â
âYeah, me too,â Steven adds on.
âSteven, yeah sure thatâs fine. I donât know, Conrad.â
âCome on, Iâm sure, she wonât even care,â Conrad pushes.
âFine, but you better not make her feel unwelcomed. Donât be selfish here, we all miss her you know,â Jere gives in.
Your breakup with Conrad didnât just affect you two but the families too. Your dad didnât really like Conrad after finding you in your room crying when he had broken up with you. You were thankful for your parents especially your dad considering he was your shoulder to cry on during it. He made sure your mom didnât push you too much during the weeks after everything happened. You loved your mom, but she never really got the hint when to stop at times. After the breakup your family still went to Susannahâs Fourth of July party that year, breaking the news to everyone you skipped out of going to Cousins because of college admissions. Everyone knew that it was deeper than that.Â
When Conrad had broken up with you it was truly out of fear, you never knew that. You believed that he didnât want to be with you anymore and didnât care enough to give you a valid reason for it. Nobody really understood why he did it. It was so out of the blue since it seemed like you two were so in love with each other. They never expected for Conrad to turn so cold to you right before the summer, well neither did you.Â
What was going through Conradâs mind was the fear you would find someone better than him at the universities you talked about. He thought to save himself the pain and do it first. He broke up with you thinking that you would move on and be with some college guy. He loved you too much to see you fall into the arms of someone else while he wasnât there. He trusted you, but that didnât stop his fears from overwhelming him. What really pushed him over was when he found out that his dad cheated on his mom while she was going through chemotherapy.Â
He was so scared to lose you that he lost you in the process.Â
You sat down outside of the ice cream parlor, nervous to be spending time with them again. Jeremiah had responded to your text saying he and Belly would both be going. You looked around to see if Jereâs car was around but you see a red jeep pulling up from down the street.Â
âShit,â you muttered to yourself.
You prayed that maybe Jeremiah just took Conradâs car instead of his, but it seemed like the world was against you when you saw him coming out of the car.
âYo, Y/N, I didnât believe Jere when he said he was coming to meet you,â you hear Steven say first approaching you. He pulled you into a hug whispering into your ear. âDonât worry about him, okay?âÂ
You appreciated Steven in moments like this. You guys have a very brother-sister relationship and he always tried to look out for you. He won't admit it out loud but he was so furious with Conrad screwing up with you. He called you immediately when he found out last you. You've been helping him with trying to prepare for Princeton without anyone knowing. You reassured him that he could do it.
âIâll try,â you whisper back while hugging him back.Â
âY/N!! Oh, have I missed you,â Jere says tackling you with a hug after Steven stepped back.
âYou saw me earlier, you know,â you laughed at him.
âYeah, but for like a minute, so that doesnât count.â
âYou guys could let her breathe,â Belly says behind Jere waiting her turn to talk to you.
âHey, Bells,â you smiled at her.
âIâm glad, you thought about it,â she says to you quietly.
âI didnât though, I texted Jere thinking only you and him would be here,â you whisper into her ear as you two hug. You glared at Jeremiah, but he didnât seem to notice or maybe he just didnât care.Â
âOh, sorry about that,â she responds to you nervously as she lets go.
You felt the world stop for a second when you locked eyes with the one and only Conrad Fisher.Â
âHey.âÂ
âHello, to you too,â you replied monotoned. You didnât want to give him the pleasure of giving him a reaction to his presence.Â
âLetâs get ice cream, shall we?â Jeremiah says cutting the tension between you two as you turned your head to look at him.Â
âYeah, letâs head in,â you said changing back to your usual tone.
âSo, howâs uni?â Steven asked once you guys headed back outside to sit down.
âItâs interesting, to say the leastâŚâ you started
âAny hot people?â Jeremiah said, wiggling his eyebrows at you. You felt Conradâs eyes bore into you when Jere asked the question.
âSome, but frat boys arenât really the best at relationships,â you answered.
âYOU GOT WITH A FRAT GUY??â Belly gasped.
âNo way, you gave a frat a chance, Y/N,â Steven added.
âIt was just a fling. Nothing that serious, really. We went out for like two weeks before I broke up with him,â you said looking at everyone sheepishly.Â
âWas he good?â Conrad challenged.
âExcuse me?â you said puzzled. You couldnât believe the nerve he had to ask you that.
âConrad, chill,â Jeremiah gapped at him.
âBelly, how do you feel about being a deb?â you asked Belly trying to move on from the subject.
âUmm⌠I donât know honestly. Iâm really nervous about it but Iâm glad you got assigned to be my big sister cause I donât know what I would do without you,â she rambled on.
âBells, youâll be great. Thereâs nothing to worry about and if anything happens weâll do it together, okay,â you said as you squeezed her hand affectively.Â
âI canât believe youâre a big sis, Y/N,â Steven joked with you.
âYeah, my mom made me deb last year in New York. Then she signed me up to help here.â
âThat sounds like her,â Conrad said quietly.
âDid you have fun last year?â Jere asked.
âI did actually. It helped take my mind off things,â you answered while making eye contact with Conrad for a sec before turning your attention back to Jere.
âSomeone escorted you?â Steven voiced out.
âYeah, I have a friend Luke who took me.â as you said that you heard Conrad scoff at the name.Â
âHey, we have to head back soon but what if you came to dinner? Please think about it, mom misses you,â Jere begged you.
âYeah sure,â you agreed already regretting your decision.Â
âYou want one of us to ride back with you?â Belly asked with a mischievous look on her face.
âIf one of you want to sure,â you had a feeling where this was going.
âConrad will go with you,â Jeremiah stated while Conrad stared at him wide-eyed.
âWhatever, I guess, youâre driving though,â you add turning to Conrad.
âOkay,â he muttered out.
The driving was filled with tension. Neither of you talking to each other but sneaking side glances hoping no one will notice.Â
âColumbia, treating you good?â he asked while looking to the road.
âBetter than you did,â you said bitterly
âY/n/n, donât be like that.â
âBe like what?â
âIâm sorry,â he said so quietly that you barely heard it.
âFor what exactly?â
âFor making a mistake.â
âConrad, stop.â
âIâm not doing anything.â
âYou know what youâre doing and stop it.â
âWhat am I doing?â
âYou trying to make me forgive you after everything.â
âCan you?â
âThatâs not the point. Why should I give you the decency of forgiveness when you couldnât even give me a damn reason.â you scoffed as he pulled in front of the house.
You walked out of the car and headed towards the door, taking deep breaths to calm yourself down. You got to the door and debated on knocking but instead chose to walk in trying to not make any noise. You heard Conrad shuffle behind you but ignored him. You walked into the kitchen and saw Laurel and Susannah cooking dinner. You sat down at the counter not wanting to disturb them.Â
âY/N! Youâre here!â Susannah says happily to you. She lowered the heat on the stove and went to you for a hug.
âHey, Y/N,â you hear Laurel say while you are engulfed in a hug from Susannah.
âMom, you can let her breathe now,â Conrad told his mom.
âConnie, be quiet for a second. Let me just admire her, sheâs so beautiful.â you blush at her words.
âYour mom was telling me that you got into Columbia last year right?â Laurel asked.
âYeah, early admission.â
âThatâs exciting,â she replies.
âNow, why havenât visited us yet?â Susannah questioned you.
âIâm sorry, Iâve been busy getting stuff together to be a big sis for the ball,â you answered giving an excuse for the summer only.
âOh, Belly was telling me about that. Sheâs really glad that she can spend time with you again. Sheâs always looked up to you,â Laurel said smiling warmly at you.
âI missed her.â
âWell, weâve all missed you,â Susannah told you slightly glaring at Conrad behind you, pulling you into another hug.Â
âYeah.â you hear behind you.Â
Nothing was ever in your favor. You sat right next to Conrad and had Steven next to you and Belly in front of you. The room was filled with awkward tension seeping from both you and Conrad. You talked to Steven quietly as everyone else had their own conversations.Â
âHowâs the application process?â you asked Steven.
âDad, says he thinks I can get in with some financial aid and Iâm going to apply for a couple scholarships.â
âA couple scholarships for what?â Laurel sparks interest in your guysâ conversation.Â
âIâm applying to Princeton,â Steven told her. Everyone dropped their side conversations and paid attention to Laurel and him.Â
âI thought you gave up on that.â
âNo, Dad and Y/N think I can do it if I get some help so I thought it was worth a shot,â he says to her slowly quieting his voice by the end of it.
âLaurel, Steven will be fine. If I could get into Columbia on a full ride, Iâm sure he can too,â you try to reassure her.
âYeah, and Y/N would only be like a 2-hour drive away too if I ever need anything,â Steven adds on.Â
âSteven, I think thatâs great for you, hun,â Susannah says sweetly.
âYou going to let me steal your sweatshirt?â Belly asks Steven excitedly.Â
âAs if,â Steven scoffs.
âHey, Bells how do you feel about a Columbia hoodie?â you say to Belly trying to make up for Stevenâs rudeness.
âReally?âÂ
âYeah, of course, Iâll bring it next time.â
âSo youâll be here the next time?â Jeremiah says jokingly.
âI'll be around.â
âThatâs great, sweetheart. It would be nice having you around again,â Susannah tells you as you feel Conradâs stare from your side.
âHowâs football, Conrad?â you asked trying to make small talk.Â
âI quit.â
âOh.â
âYou still doing volleyball?â
âYeah, Iâm trying out for captain next year.â
âThatâs good.â
âCan we talk?â you hear Conrad say behind you.
âSure, give me a sec. Jere, she really likes you donât mess it up.â
âI wonât!â Jeremiah yelled walking back into the house.
You and Conrad sit beside the pool as everyone is inside. You kept a distance between you two but Conrad seemed to inch closer to you by the minute.Â
âWhatâd you want to talk about?â you said breaking the silence.
âI never meant to hurt you.â
âYou see, Conrad thatâs the problem you did.â
âIt was for the best.â
âWhat do you mean for the best, I was in love with you.â
âI loved you too.â
âSure didnât seem that way when you said you wanted a break.â
âY/N, I was scared okay.â
âScared for what exactly, Conrad?â you snapped him not getting where he was going with this conversation.
âWe wouldâve never lasted with you in college.â
âWell, now weâll never know.â
âYou seemed to move on pretty quick so I guess I was right.â
âOh fuck you, Conrad. I had my heart broken because of you and all you think is that.â
âYou were going to leave me.â Conrad implied as his voice cracked.
âWhat?â you said looking at him and making eye contact.Â
âYou wouldâve found some college guy and probably notice how much better he is than me.âÂ
âConrad, I donât understand.â
âI was so fucking scared, Y/N. I thought maybe if I broke up with you first it would save me some of the heartache. I think it only made it worse.â
âWhat do you mean âbroke up with me firstâ? Conrad, I wouldâve never done that to you and Iâm offended you donât have any faith in me.â
âMy dad cheated on my mom okay,â he said to you looking down towards the pool.Â
âOh, Con, Iâm so sorry,â you grabbed his hand. You felt him tighten his hold against yours when you tried to pull back.
âI found out a week before we broke up.â
âOh," you muttered under your breath as everything started clicking in your mind about how your breakup went down.
âIâm sorry, Y/N. For everything.âÂ
âI know, Con,â you said.Â
Conrad Fisher always had that effect on you. No matter how much you tried to deny it you would always love him. For that, you would always end up forgiving him in the end. You wondered if he still had any love for you back.
âYou know I never stopped loving you,â he said quietly, reconnecting your eyes. It was almost as if he read your mind.
âNo. You canât do that, Conrad. It hurts too much,â you said feeling tears fill your eyes.Â
âI shouldâve never done what I did.â
âConrad, stop.â
âNo. I need you to know I regret it okay.â
âYouâre only saying this cause Iâm back,â you said as the tears fell from your eyes.Â
âIâm not. You know I tried visiting you once a couple weeks after everything but you were rehearsing with Luke,â he told you as he raised his hand to wipe away your tears.
âWhy didnât you say anything?â you flushed as you saw him stare at your face slowly taking you in admiration.
âI thought you would be better off without me,â he said rubbing his thumb against your cheek.
âCon,â you found yourself slowly leaning into his touch.
âIâve always adored you.â
You tried looking away from him but you felt him gently grab your chin and tilt it up towards him.
âYouâre an ass.â you laughed trying to put your nerves away as you looked down to his lips before traveling your eyes back to his.Â
âI love you and I am sorry,â he whispered to you as he pulled you in.Â
âCon, this is wrong.â
âNothing is wrong. Itâs only us,â he said inches away from your lips.Â
He put his lips against yours and grabbed your face closer to him. You found yourself kissing him back wrapping your arms around his neck. It was as if you could feel the emotion Conrad was putting into this kiss, it felt like he was giving it his all. As if it was to make up for the past.
âAlways know how to make a girl blush,â you said against his lips. You felt the vibration of his laugh as you said it. You missed hearing it. He pushed his lips back onto yours with the same kind of passion as before.
âOnly you,â he responded as he pulled back leaning his forehead against yours.Â
âDo you really think this is smart?â you muttered.
âIt was stupid of me to ruin what we had in the first place.â
âOkay.â and with that, he grabbed your face into his hands.
âYou. Youâre the one I love and I promise I wonât make the same mistake.â
summery : on fourth of july you overhear conrad talking to jeremiah and steven about how clingy you are, it makes you distant towards him and he notices obviously.
requested by : @honey-browneyes
conrad masterlist
belly had just told shayla about steven making out with taylor. the girls wanted to leave and you were their ride so you were gonna leave with them. "I'll be right back. I'm just gonna tell conrad we're leaving." the girls nodded and you had walked towards the beach.
you stopped in your tracks when you heard conrad talking to jeremiah about how clingy you were. your heart was pounding in your chest, you never thought he would find it annoying how much time you spent by his side. you had decided to just leave without saying anything, just to give him his space.
when you got in the car with the girls, they all immediately noticed how upset your were and asked. your told them about what you heard and they all comforted you. shayla and you had stayed up watching fireworks on the front porch when steven pulled up in the drive way. you walked back inside to let them talk.
you grabbed your phone and noticed the 2 missed calls and 5 messages from conrad.
"why did you leave?"
"are you okay?"
"do you want me to come over?"
"please pick up!"
"hello?!"
you sighed and called him back. Conrad instantly picked up, "hey, is everything okay? you left without saying goodbye." you closed your eyes and took a deep breath before answering, "yeah... um... everything is fine. don't worry. shayla just wanted to leave and it flew by to tell you."
you heard him sigh in relief, "oh okay. do you want me to come over?" you shook your head although he couldn't see, "no. it's fine. I'll see you tomorrow." conrad let out another sigh, "oh. cool. I'll talk to you tomorrow." you said goodbye before hanging up.
you wanted to tell him but decided not to. instead you were just gonna give him space and you did. the next week you had a ton of excuses to not be able to hang out or to leave early. conrad had been confused to say the least but also annoyed at your behavior.
shayla and you were talking at a party when conrad started to come over but you stood up, "I'm gonna go to the bathroom real quick." but before you could run away, conrad grabbed your arm and pulled you outside, "nope, not today." you quickly began protesting but it was no use.
"what is going on? you've been avoiding me like crazy. you either can't hang out or you have to leave early cause of some lame excuse. talk to me." you sighed, "nothing is going on. I've just been busy. I'm not gonna spend every second with you, okay? now stop being clingy."
your hand instantly flew to your mouth as your realized what you said. Conrad's eyes widen, "what? I'm clingy?" you shook your head, "no, that's not what I meant." you let out a load groan as you sat on the cement stairs. he sat next to you and grabbed your hand, "talk to me, please."
"I heard you talking to jere about how clingy I am. so I wanted to give you space. I'm sorry." his eyes softened at your confession, "you are clingy but I don't mind. I love how much time we spend together. sometimes I wish we could spend even more."
you looked up at him, "really?" he smiled as he pulled your face closer to his, "yes, really." he pressed your lips together and you instantly melted into the kiss and wrapped your hands around his neck. all this time you had been wrong, he didn't find you annoying.
"god, will you two get a room?" you both pulled away and looked up at the person in front of you, steven. conrad chuckled, "we don't complain when your with shayla." as if her name summoned her, shayla appeared now standing next to steven and laughed, "I'm so glad you two made up finally."
Having a beach house next door to the Fisherâs was never boring, Susannah was really close with my parents and so when I was one they decided to cut out an opening between our two gardens⌠still not entirely sure if thatâs legal or not but it never hurt anyone. I was sure this year was going to be no different from the rest, the boys and their mom would arrive first, on the same day as us, then a couple of days later the Conklins would join the party and we would have a huge garden gathering with a barbeque.
Expect that wasnât exactly what happened, the day the boys and Susannah arrived there was a puzzle piece out of place. My mother and I had gone over to their home that afternoon when they settled in, my dad said he needed to go run some errands, not that there was anything wrong with that.
The second my mother opened their back door, yes we had gone in through the garden secret entrance- we always did, Jeremiah had rushed in as if called on command. A smile spread over my face and I opened my arms, but it wasnât me who he ran to, he embraced my mother first, she burst into laughter and so did Susannah I stood in fake offence.
âCome on y/n/n you canât be offended itâs m/nâ he said letting her go smiling at me with his goofy grin.
âYeah whatever, just come here!â I said in excitement, his head turned slightly to the side and his smirk grew as he took all of me in, his eyes wandered down my body and back to my eyes, he was centimetres away when Susannah brushed passed him and pulled me into her arms, this time the curly blonde looked offended.
âCome on Jeremiah, itâs Susannahâ I said with a laughter, âDonât like the tables turning huh?â I teased.
âWow mom, wow,â he said in a fake sarcastic tone.
âWhat? I had to hug my adoptive daughter!â That made my heart skipped beat, I knew Susannah always wanted a daughter, even though she loved her boys which mother didnât want a daughter. I remember her telling me how she was so happy that Jeremiah and I had only been born a few months apart, that she felt complete having her two boys, Steven and I, then Belly was born too and whatâs then she said everything was truly complete.
Susannah was a caring woman and Iâm pretty sure she would love to have a whole nursey of children under her care at all times, but Iâm glad itâs the five of us, just the way it had been since I could remember.
âUh, sorry Susannah could I talk to you? About that thingâŚâ my motherâs sombre tone did not go missed neither by me or Jeremiah who looked at me with a questioning look, I could only shrug my shoulders.
Susannah let go of me âYou guys decide what weâre having for food tonight, youâre staying over right y/n/n?â
âAs always, how could I say no to you Susannah?â
about. conrad tries to get to the bottom as to why you were ditched to soak in the rain.
warnings. foul language
ricky rocks. hey requesters :):):):):):):):)
âyeah?â
âconnie?â
oh, fuck me.
conrad internally swore at the sound of your sweet voice dipped in distress and pain. he could already so clearly hear it with the sound of his name, he can feel it.
conrad sits himself down at the edge of his bed, almost as if preparing himself for this conversation, âwhatâs wrong, y/n/n?â
you close your eyes tightly at his hard but concerned voice, almost regretting making this call, but you push the lump in your throat, speaking, âi-uh, can you come pick me up?â
âwhy canât you have steven or jere-â
âi donât-i canât. iâm not around them right now, connie,â you anxiously clutched the front fabric of your sundress, completely soaked in lake water as well as the on coming rain that was slowly setting in, painting your skin even colder. âplease, conrad.â
he agreed, of course he agreed. itâs just, would he be in such an agreeing mood when he realized how wet it was outside, or how drenched you were?
he was, he felt absolutely horrible for you; seeing you left practically stranded on the side of the road with your hair clinging to the side of your face as well as your clothes sticking to your like glue as more and more rain poured down on you.
âwhere is jeremiah and steven?â his voice was stern as he looked you over again and again, still not getting over what a sad puppy you looked like. it didnât sit well in his stomach, not at all, whatever was going on, it upset him a lot.
âit doesnât matter, conrad,â you clutched yourself, trying to gather warmth as you were now sat in his passenger seat with the heat on high, âletâs just go.â
he looked at you, not convinced. it took everything in him not to pry, thinking it over and over, wondering how could they just ditch you in the pouring rain all by yourself practically in the middle of fucking no where. how?
he had to let it go. but it was still all he could think about.
âwe need to get you out of those clothes,â first thing he said once you got home and you shamefully followed him to his room where he was quick to dig in his drawers for spare clothes he could give youâeven as your room was just down the hall.
âconnie,â he tossed you one of his tee shirts and a pair of stripped boxer shorts, not listening to your sounds of protests. âiâm alright now.â
he doesnât believe it. he watches you carefully as you hold the clothes in a ball to your chest, starring back at him, and he just doesnât believe it. your eyes were sad to the core and your whole body language screamed distraught. you werenât alright.
âjust change, unless you want me to do it for you.â
your body heats up at his words. he doesnât even seem fazed, but you donât expected anything less from him.
after you exit his room to the bathroom, connie falls on his bed, sighing as he thinks about the next morning and how he will be scolding, if not beating the fuck out of steven and jeremiah if they donât have a good excuse.
this was the exact reason why conrad didnât enjoy you going out alone or even without him to watchâas much as he hated to say that. he hated to care so much, but it was hard not to.
âyou gonna tell me what happened tonight?â
âno?â
âwrong answer.â
you winced but still slowly made your way to the other side of conradâs bed, slipping into it beside him as he still stared at the ceiling thinking. you hated doing this to him, being such a general burden on him, but he was honestly one of the only people you knew who would show up for you.
he would always show up, no matter the circumstance.
âjere and steven thought itâd be a fun idea to meet up with some guys that they had met before at a party and to just fuck around up at the lake⌠which was fine, i didnât really care,â you paused, clasping the back of your neck while staring at your lap from the crisscross sitting position you were in on his bed. he watched you, sitting up straight now on the edge of the bed, waiting for your to continue.
âit was fun, fine, until we were on the dock and um, one of them ended up pushing me in and they were all laughing and yâknowâŚâ you coughed awkwardly and conrad frowned hard, the image of it playing in his head. âthey ditched me after i guess, convinced steven and jeremiah that i wasnât any fun, so they just left.â
what the fuck.
he continued to stare at the side of your face as your eyes were perfectly trained on his white sheets, not saying anything, letting the story sink in. you waited for him to say something, but you werenât surprised when he didnât.
that was one of the dumbest things conrad had probably heard. with the whole thing could have been easily avoided if his brother wasnât such a dumbass and used basic sensibilityâconrad cut his thoughts off, rubbing his face before moving fully onto his bed, his arm pulling on yours to lay down next to him.
he didnât know what to sayâhe didnât know what to say without sounding over aggressive or like an asshole, so he kept his mouth shut and let the only sound of your breathing fill the air.
you found it unbearable. always.
âare you mad that i called you?â
he looked over to you, narrowing his brows, confused on why you would ask, âwhy?â
âyou wanted to stay in tonight,â you rolled to your side, looking up to him as you were still pressed very closely to him. âi feel bad-â
âdonât,â he shook his head, confused as to why you would feel bad in this situation. âyou had a long night, y/n. you shouldnât feel sorry about anything.â
you didnât say anything more. there wasnât anything more to say and you almost felt content enough as you pressed yourself further into conradâs side, allowing his warmth to consume your body. he pursed his lips, not feeling content at all, but allowing this moment to be enough.
he allowed himself to let sleep come upon him with you pulled close to his side, and even if he wasnât content with the outcomes of the night, he was satisfied that you were finally safe with him.

Summery: y/n and conrad had ended on bad terms because one text so when she get a phone call at three in the morning weeks later she wasnât expecting it to be him.
It had been weeks, months even since y/n had seen Conrad. There relationship didnât exactly end on the greatest of terms. Infact, it ended with y/n storming out of his house at 4am calling him an asshole and saying she never wanted to see him again. But that was a lie. Sheâd secretly been praying heâd call her begging her to come back to him.
But that wasnât Conrads style.
If he really thought she never wanted to see him again heâd do that for her. Heâd stay out of her life no matter how much it hurt him. No matter how much he wanted to turn up at her house and tell her he wasnât leaving until she took him back. Heâd do anything for her even if it was killing him inside.
So when 3am rolled around and y/n was still up staring at the ceiling going over every detail of the last night sheâd spent with Conrad. The way heâs brushed the hair out of her face telling her he wanted to see her entire face because it was to pretty to be hidden, the soft whispers of how be imagined there future of how theyâd live here in cousins have three kids because heâd always though three kids was the perfect amount and two cats called Apollo and Athena. She though about how just that one message ruined everything.
âWhyâs Nicole texting you at 3am?â Y/n asked Conrad just shrugged shielding the screen from her which only pissed y/n off more âwhat does she want?â Y/n asked but he didnât say anything and thatâs when she snatched his phone off him
âY/n!â He said as she got up moving away from his scrolling through the messages and anything else she could find.
âWhat the fuck Conrad. Why the hell has she been calling you every night at 3am and 4am?â Y/n asked Conrad sighed sitting up and reaching out for her but she swatted his hand away
âItâs not what you think, y/n.â He said running his hands threw her hair but y/n had already decided it was exactly what she was thinking
âAre you still in love with her?â Y/n asked catching him off guard. She was good at that. Catching him off guard.
âNo!â Conrad started to panic âgod no, sheâs going through a shitty time and needed someone to talk to, I love you y/n!â He said but she wasnât having it.
âDoes she not have friends she can bother? Why does it have to be you?â Y/n snapped as he grabbed her hand âdonât touch me!â Y/n stood up throwing his phone back at him
âItâs not that simple y/n but I promise itâs not what youâre thinking.â He said about to stand up but y/n shook her head slipping her shoes back on
âYouâre a fucking liar Conrad⌠you know what let me make it simple for you, I donât wanna see you again.â Y/n stormed out And conrad cased after her
âY/n, please donât do this!â He begged but sheâd already made her mind up
âLeave me the hell alone Conrad!â
Y/n had never cried as much as that night sheâd spent hours sobbing into her pillow until her throat was raw and face was puffy. Nicole had tried to call her a few days later but she didnât want to hear what she had to say.
So there she was. Laying in her bed at 3am still trying to come to terms with the fact that they were over. It was almost strange how the second she started letting herself get upset again her phone started realising
âConnie âŁď¸â flashed on her screen. Sheâd yet to change anything about his contacts knowing that it would have made it real. She wanted to let it go to voicemail but something was telling me she needed to answer
âHello?â She asked as if she didnât already know it was him
"Hey Pretty girl ." He slurred clearly drunk which hurt her a little to think that he has to be drunk to think about calling her. But what was more concerning was that she could hear his car
"Con are you driving right now?" She asked trying not to panic. He was stupid sometimes when he drank. But he wasnât that stupid
"Not yet but I wanna come see you." He said sweetly and she felt her chest tighten for fear and something else that she wanted to ignore
"Conrad donât be stupid. you're drunk. Get out of your car." Y/n got up from her bed and pulled the closest jumper on she could find as well as slipping her shoes on
"why? do you not wanna see me." She could hear his pout through his words and it tugged on her heart strings.
"Connie, of course I wanna see you but im begging you, get out of your car." She said but he was stubborn
"I'm fine y/n I promise." He argued she heard the engine start and took a deep breath. She was scared he was going to get hurt and it would be her fault. He was trying to drive to her after all.
"Please Connie, I don't want you to get hurt. I'll come to you." She begged and he just let a groan âConnie please, youâre scaring me to death here.â And with that he gave in
âOkay.â
âOkay, where are you?â Y/n asked letting out a sigh of relief whipping the few tears that rolled down her cheeks away with the sleeve of her jumper before grabbing her car keys.
âToms.â He told her she heard him undo his seat belt nodding to herself as she got left her house and sprinted to her car
âwell go back inside for me, okay Honey?â She said setting off for the bar across town Conrad said an okay and nodded although she couldnât see
âY/n.â He said in almost a whisper
âYes Con?â
âI love you.â
Y/n didnât say it back instead she settled for a simple âIâll see you soon Con.â
When she arrived at the bar she found him sat with Bartender who just gave her a sympathetic looks âyour girls here.â He said to Conrad who never looked up faster
âHey.â He said but Y/n just ignored him
"Take him home get him some more water...Iâll grab his Car keys" y/n nodded just nodded as the two were left alone
"Y/n." Conrad whispered reaching out for her. y/n shook her head
"Donât." Was all she said as the two stood in silence for awhile before the bar tender returned
"okay... so you can pick your car up tomorrow afternoon as it will get locked in until then when I leave shorty.â He directed his statement more at y/n knowing conrad wasnât listening he was to busy trying to figure out what the hell he was doing right now. Calling y/n out of no where. It wasnât him. He doesnât do this. Y/n thanked the bartender and apologised on Conrads behalf before walking out with Conrad following.
"Y/n."
"Just get in the car."
"Y/n please."
"Conrad, I said get in the car."
"Please!" He begged grabbing her wrist and spinning her around to face him "I'm sorry." Was all he said before she fell into his chest sobbing while he held here close "I'm so sorry." He repeated as she clung onto his shirt
"you scared me to death Conrad." She said through sobs âyou donât do that, youâre not stupid you know not to drive when youâve been drinking. You know that!â Heâd never felt like a more awful person that he did right now
"I'm really sorry.⌠I don't deserve you." He said as she looked up at him he was still drunk as ever but he was still Conrad. He still knew he had completely fucked up
âyou could have gotten hurt Con, or worse." She said shaking head âdo you know much that would have killed me knowing you got hurt because you were stupid enough to get behind the wheel drunk just to come and see me.â Conradâs hand came to her cheek to wipe her tears away
"I'm okay!" He whispered he wanted to tell her how much of an idiot he was but she didnât need that right now
âpromise me you'll never do that again."
"I promise." He said before leaning And kissing her softly she let it happen for a few seconds before pulling away
"Conrad."
"I know."
"you can't just kiss me."
"I want you back." Hed never sounded so desperate before searching her eyes for an answer but she just shook her head
"we're not doing this right not let's just go home." She said unlocking the car door and getting in. Conrad sighed before making his way to the passenger side and getting in. The drive home was almost silent until Y/n sighed "you said you were driving to come and see meâŚ.. we haven't spoke in months Conrad." She said keeping her eyes on her road
"I thought if I stayed away it would be better for the both of us⌠you didnât want to see me again and Although it killed me not being near you, id do anything youâd ask me." He said she sighed softly as they pulled up.
She let out a sigh knowing it was her own fault but also if he wasnât so Goddamn stubborn. "Don't sigh y/n. You know itâs true Iâd do anything you ask even if it killed me" He said y/n frowned
"can we just go Inside." Was all she said in response The pair didn't say another word to each other all night they both got ready for bed and that was it.
It wasn't until the next morning when y/n woke up tangled in his arms she knew she was done for. The second she tried to move his hold on her waist just tightened when she tried again he let out a small groan while squeezing her waist slightly "Con." She whispered not wanting to startle him "Connie please." She whispered again as he began to stir "I need to pee, con." She said he groaned once more letting her go.
In the time it took her to go to the bathroom and come back Conrad was basically asleep again or so she thought
"come back" she heard as he held his arm out for her. She knew she shouldn't that this would put them in an awkward spot but the idea of laying in his arms all morning was something she couldn't turn down. So she didn't. She crawled back into his arms instantly melting in his embrace. "Can we just stay here forever?" Conrad mumbled after what felt like a lifetime of silence
âI wish it was that easy." She mumbled he sighed softly
hiii! can I request one where the reader injures herself and conrad takes care of her?
Surf || Conrad Fisher
âHold on!â Conrad called after you, throwing his surfboard to the side as you limped out of the water.
âSeriously, Iâm fine!â You told him, blood coating your entire leg.
Somehow youâd sliced your leg on a piece of coral or something. It was a fairly large gash, the saltwater not doing any good things for you. Conrad noticed almost immediately when the blood got all over your board.
A large open wound in the ocean was definitely not the most optimal thing. Paddling back out, you felt a terrible stinging pain. He followed you, knowing you were hurt.
âY/N, stop!â He shouted at you, undoing the velcro at your ankle and looking ay the gaping cut. âIâll carry you back to the house, otherwise youâre gonna get sand in it.â
He lifted you up bridal styles, face hot. Not protesting, you let him carry you up to the house in silence. You only hoped you wouldnât need stitches. He carried you effortlessly through the sand and up the stairs, pulling the sliding door back and setting you down on one of the counters. All you could think about was his pink cheeks and the sand you were trailing into the house.
âIâll get some peroxide, and see if my mom is home,â he said, leaving to go find the medicine cabinet.
Once he came back, he was holding the plastic container and some other things in his arms. Susanna was nowhere to be found, neither was anyone else, not even Jere. You held back tears, feeling horrible for the blood droplets getting on the floor.
âAlright lemme see,â he motioned for you to put your leg up and he placed a towel underneath you, on the floor. âThis is probably gonna sting.â
He poured the hydrogen peroxide onto the gash and you put your hand on his shoulder and squeezed. There wasnât as much blood as he dried you off and started to wrap your leg up. Every so often he would look up from in between your legs.
âI donât think you need stitches, but Iâm also not a doctor. Do you want me to drive you to the hospital?â He asked you, on his knees in front of you, he cut the medical tape off, not with scissors, but his teeth.
âNo, noâdonât worry about it,â you sighed. âI think Iâll be fine, Iâll have my mom look at it later.â
He nodded, looking up at you through the few wet strands of hair hanging over his eyes. All you could think about was kissing him, you were so close and all you would have to do was lean forward. His lips parted, still salty and wet.
âWeâre home!â Jeremiah called through the house, door opening and Conrad backing up.
about. conrad likes things simple, but you want moreâturning things complicated.
warnings. foul language, underage drinking
ricky rocks. i kinda have a friend that looks like conrad AND has the same nickname, W.
âsave me some, connie.â
your soft teasing voice fills his ears before your finger tip pokes him in the cheek from where you stood behind him. it causes him to dip his head backwards to look at you, his soft brown curls falling back from his face as he smirks to you.
âthought you werenât coming.â
âchanged my mind,â you took a seat next to him from where he sat in a low beach chair. you could tell it was probably a good thing that you did come due to the beer bottles and heavy liquor stacking up by his side. it probably would have been a real lonely night without you, one heâd most likely regret in the morning.
âwell iâm glad,â his hand reached to you, touching the bare skin exposed beneath the cropped top you wore. his finger tips were cold making you shiver slightly as they grazed your hip bone to all the way up your shirt. âyouâre so far.â
his head leaned against the back of his chair, focused so closely on you that it made you so nervous for no particular reason. the flames from the fire that you were both sat around gave a soft glow to his face that made your stomach twist in a jittery feeling.
he looked so pretty. and so calm.
âcâmere, baby,â his finger hooks within your waistband, tugging you lightly to get you up from your seat and come closer. you feel your body strike up in heat as you were now sitting on his lap and his arms were tightly pulled around you. ânow i can see you better.â
âyouâre a big goof, connie,â you push his hair from his eyes, shaking your head with a smile. âsometimes i actually think you like me.â
he laughs quietly, âwhy wouldnât i like you?â
âyou tell me,â you press your nose against his, closing your eyes, regretting the fact that you even said anything. you knew if the conversation exceeded those two sentences, it could ruin the balance.
what you and conrad had, was something you werenât going to take for granted. everyone knew he was very picky with girls, so the fact that he chose you was something you took honor in. the only thing, this relationship, was hanging on by threads and could be easily rocked into the sea with lack of caution. there was no label, thatâs what it was. no label to tie you two together, making it easy for prying eyes to capsize the relationship if they tried so hard.
âno,â he shifts slightly underneath you, pulling his face a bit from yours so he can look at you, to see your eyes and what was flooding through them. âwhat do you mean?â
conrad was more unbalanced when drunk, not unbalanced but empathetic. you should have known he would question. he surprisingly thought more deeper on things, didnât let it go as easily; opposed to when he was sober and wanted no problems. he wanted to know why, when, who, details, whatever. he wanted to clarify, otherwise while in clear mind, he didnât care for fogginess and vague statements.
âtalk to me.â
âi didnât mean it,â you tried to smile, leaning closer to him in hopes heâd just let it go. âiâm joking, kiss me.â
he scoffed, âyou mistake me for a fool,â his voice is highly amused but you can tell heâs not joking, and he wants to hear your truth. âyou donât think i like you?â
you pursed your lips, carefully conveying his face, trying to decide how youâre going to go about this because you canât lie; heâll know, he always knows, he can read you like the back of his hand.
âconrad,â your tone is hard and he can hear
the hesitation, he knows you donât want to talk about it, donât want to disturb the peace.
âbe honest,â his fingers press against your cheek, almost pinching it teasingly before speaking again, âwhy do you think that?â
âyouâre drunk,â you say, âmaybe we should talk about this later.â
âif we donât talk about it now, weâre never going to talk about it.â
right, exactly.
âi think⌠i really like you, connie, but you donât really like meâlike the way i like you,â you have your arms looped around his neck now as if holding him so he wonât get away. making the moment last. âi mean i should know better, but i canât help butâŚâ you stop pressing your lips against his.
âi think you think too much, y/n,â he taps your chin lightly, teasing, âi like you. i think youâre great, why are you so worried?â
âconnie⌠i donât know how to say this without seeming like a bitch, but everyone knows you donât have the best track record.â
âand youâre everyone?â
âno,â you say fast. âno, but-â
âbut what?â
âbut why does it seem like weâre nothing? like we sleep in the same bed, but weâre still nothing to everyone.â
âwhy does it matter who we are to these people, y/n?â his eyes crinkle in the corners as he asks you this, his head tipping back in motion to the rest of the people on the beach. âyou are so much better than that.â
âbecause maybe i want you all to myself and i want everyone to know that,â you mumble, almost feeling shameful, but he grins at the clinging nature that has suddenly came over you.
âthen show them,â he chews on his bottom lip, looking up at you with smug look. âshow them iâm yours.â
Summary: you and conrad have a complicated relationship but that doesnât stop him from keeping you on his mind. But will you forgive him after what happened? (PART TWO TO Baby Honey.)
Warnings: a little angst never hurt nobody but yes there is a fluffy ending. could allude to smut if you squint but not really. UNEDITED
a/n: thank you for all the love on my recent fics! I am very thankful and grateful for you guys interacting with them :)

âWhat?â came out as your voice broke looking into his eyes.Â
âIt wasnât your fault it was mine,â Conrad admitted. As he said that, you felt tears swell in your eyes threatening to fall.Â
âConrad, what are you saying?â
âJust that you matter to me. A lot. Youâve always had. You matter so much to me. Never think you didnât,â he spoke out softly.
âThen why, Conrad.â
âBecause I was fucking scared, okay,â he said as he broke away from your stare.
âCon, you couldâve talked to me.â
âNo, cause you wouldâve realized it soon than later.â
âRealize what?â
âThat I wasnât ready. That I wasnât what you deserved at the time,â he said as he looked back at you.
âI will never understand you, Conrad.â
âIâm sorry.â
âDonât apologize for something you donât mean,â you said as you moved away from him but he pulled you back by your hand.
âBut I do. Iâm sorry for everything. For last summer, for our argument before you left, for not explaining anything. After you left with your sister last summer, I couldnât get you off my mind. When Nicole asked me, I didnât think you would come back after everything that went down. I knew I made a mistake the second I saw you in the room that night,â he explained getting closer to you.
âI donât even know what to think anymore.âÂ
âNicole can never compare what you mean to me, okay. Last summer I was too scared to be with you. It felt all too real to me. I know that if I ever lost you after a stupid mistake, I wouldnât know what to do with myself. Nicole was safe, and I didnât care if something happened between me and her. I regret everything that happened with you that night. But I was too much of a coward to say anything else,â he continued.
âWhy are you telling me this now?â you asked him.
âBecause I love you. Iâve always had,â he told you with love in his eyes.
Conrad Fisher confused you to no end, but there was a part of you that loved him for it. You let your mind process the information youâve just been told. You were at a loss of words. Here you were standing in the Fishersâ kitchen in front of Conrad as he poured out his heart to you. It took everything in you to not kiss him right now.Â
You always knew that Conrad could make you fold like no other. Thatâs just the way it was. You would always forgive him after he apologized to you even though sometimes you know you shouldnât. But a part of you always held him so closely in your heart that no matter what he did or what he said you could forgive him. He just had that effect on you.Â
âConrad, stop looking at me like that,â you spoke flustered breaking away from his eye contact.Â
âLike what?â
âLike youâre about to eat me!â you blurt out in a rush and a little embarrassed after you heard what you said. That motherfucker laughed. He laughed right in your face. You blushed at the embarrassment you started to feel as he continued to laugh.
âI havenât laughed like that in a long time,â he chuckled, bringing his hand towards your face to brush a piece of hair that fell behind your ear.Â
âI hate that I love you,â you admitted.
âDoes it help that I love you too?â he grinned.
âOh, just kiss me, you asshole.âÂ
You didnât have to tell him twice for him to pull you by your waist and smash his lips against yours. You felt the eagerness and passion that both of you put into the kiss. His hands slid down to your ass and give it a squeeze. This resulted in you letting out a gasp allowing him to slip his tongue into your mouth.Â
He lifted you with ease onto the counter and your legs wrapped around his waist. With your arms around his neck and your hands in his hair. You pulled his hair slightly and a moan escaped his lips. His hands gripped your hips pulling you closer to him.Â
You broke away from the kiss, panting for air. Conrad lowered his head to press a trail of kisses on your neck. You bite down on your lip to keep your moans in as Conrad continued his assault on your neck. Nipping and sucking on the soft skin. He brought his head back up to press his lips against yours.
As you pulled away this time your foreheads leaned on each otherâs, both of your eyes closed enjoying the silence and each other's presence.
âStay the night,â he whispered.
âOkay.â
You woke up in Conradâs bed wrapped around in his sheets facing him. His arms were wrapped around your waist snuggling into you. You looked at him in admiration. His hair was messy and his lips parted. He was so beautiful. You draw swirls on his arms as time passed.
âI can feel your stare,â he mumbled.Â
âI thought you were asleep,â you blushed.Â
âAs that makes it any better,â he said amused.
âConrad? Did you mean what you said last night?â you spoke softly.
âEvery word. I love you, Y/N. You make me the happiest and if youâre willing to give me another chance. I promise you wonât regret it,â he told you moving pieces of hair out of your face.Â
âDonât screw this up.â
âNever again,â he said pressing a kiss on your forehead.Â
âCome on letâs get up before your brother comes barging in here. Even worse if itâs your mom,â you said trying to get up slowly.Â
âNo, then I have to share you with everybody downstairs,â he grumbled pulling you back into him.Â
âSharing is caring, you know."
âNot with you.â
âThey wonât be that bad.â
âYeah but they love you too much and will start talking to you about stuff and then youâll get so engulfed in the conversation and forget Iâm standing right next to you.â
âConrad, it seems like youâre speaking from experience?â you giggled.
âBecause they do it every time,â he claimed.
âIt wonât be that bad,â you said as you slowly got up putting a shirt on from the floor before going through one of Conradâs drawers looking for the smallest pair of sweats he had.Â
âYour stuff is still in the bottom drawer,â he said from the bed looking at you going through his things.
âIâm surprised you kept my stuff.â
âWhy wouldnât I?â you threw him a look as he said that making him realize and shut up.
âExactly,â you laughed.
As you walked down the stairs together, you heard small chatter from the kitchen and took a deep breath in. It was now or never.Â
âY/N! Youâre still here?!â Belly said excitedly pulling you into a hug.
âYeah. Why are you still here?â Steven questioned from the table looking at you and Conrad suspiciously.Â
âSteven, donât be a jackass,â Laurel commented from the stove.Â
âOh, I know whyâŚâ Jeremiah teased walking up to you to only poke at your neck.
You gasped and looked to Conrad who had a smirk on his face.Â
âConrad!â as you hit his arm only for him to laugh.Â
âI donât even wanna know,â Susannah said handing you both a plate of breakfast.Â
âItâs not what it looks like,â you say panicked.Â
âSo you two made up?â Jeremiah said wiggling his eyebrows to you and Conrad.
âJere quit teasing them,â Belly said beside him.
As you sat to eat at the table you felt your chair move as Conrad pulled one of the legs to pull you closer to him. Once the chairs were together, he placed his hand on the inner of your thigh drawing small circles with his thumb.Â
âWell, Iâm glad you two got over yourselves and made up,â Susannah said from behind the counter.Â
âAnd I swear that I'm not thinkin' 'bout you all the time.
Just today, yesterday, every day, and tomorrow nightâ

Last SummerÂ
âConrad, Iâm not doing this shit anymore,â you said in frustration.
âDo what, Y/N? You have a part in this just as much as I do,â he deadpanned.
âYeah, Conrad, because I care for you.â
âWell, maybe you shouldnât,â he muttered.
âFine.â
It had been a while since you last spoke with Conrad Fisher at the debutante ball. Frankly, it bothered you what happened the last time you saw each other. You came back to Cousins after visiting colleges for your older sister expecting to talk to Conrad again but no. He was wrapped around Nicole and pushed you to the side.Â
You couldnât believe how much of a hypocrite he had become. After saying a lot of shit on debutante balls and how the girls that did them were sheep, he was escorting one of those girls. It was your sisterâs year to be a big sister to one of the girls so your family took attendance at the ball. Your heart felt like it split into two seeing Conrad Fisher be announced as an escort.
Before leaving to go visit colleges, you and Conrad had an argument over him not being ready for a relationship but he wanted the things it came with. Conrad Fisher took your heart from a young age from his charming blue eyes to his alluring personality. You and Conrad started a friend-with-benefits situation at the beginning of the summer with you thinking that this would be enough for you. But it never was.Â
Conrad knew he messed up the second you walked away from him that night. He never meant to hurt you but he wasnât enough for you. At the time he couldnât be what you needed from a person in a relationship. When you left last summer, he didnât expect to see you again when he accepted Nicole's invitation to be her escort. He needed to get you off his mind. You swarmed every thought heâs had since that night.Â
Even his family seemed disappointed in him for stupidly letting the girl go. Susannah remembered the days when she would talk to Laurel and your mom about how their girls were destined for her boys. Jeremiah and Belly always seemed to have a connection from early on always being stuck to each otherâs hip. Everyone always knew that you and Conrad would end up together or at least hoped. You brought out the best in Conrad when nobody else could. You made him laugh in the best ways possible. They were truly rooting for you two but noticed that the night at the debutante ball something shifted between you two.Â
You two no longer went to go hang out or spend time down at the beach. It was like you completely stopped talking to him in general. Nobody ever had the nerve to ask either of you what happened between you two. Some thought you had just grown from each other though others knew it was beyond that.
âMom, do I have to do this?â you questioned as you tried on what seemed like the hundredth dress during this fitting.Â
âYes, arenât you excited to be a deb?â she asked softly.
âA deb without a date, mom,â you said bitterly.
âWho knows maybe youâll find somebody. You still have time, okay. If not we can figure something out,â she replied back fixing the back of your dress.
This one took your breath away looking at yourself in the mirror. You never remembered a time when you felt as beautiful as you did now. You turned to face your mom and her eyes looked at you in full admiration.
âOh, Darling, you are truly gorgeous. Always have been,â you hear from the other side of the room surprised to see Susannah here with Laurel and Belly. Your cheeks turn bright red from the compliment.Â
âThank you, Susannah,â you told her.
âHey, Beck,â your mom greeted from beside you.
âY/n, you look beautiful,â Belly turned to you in a dress as well.
âAs do you, Belly,â you replied.
As all the moms caught up with each other, they agreed to do lunch together wanting to spend more time with one another. This gave you time to talk to Belly as well. You hadnât talked to each other in a while and it was nice to get updates on what was going on with her life since the last time you saw her. She told you about her Cam and Jeremiah situation and how she finally came to her senses when she decided to be with Jeremiah. Which didnât surprise you in the way she thought it would. It was something everyone already saw coming.Â
You updated her on your life as well telling her how youâve been applying for Colleges already hoping to get into Yale for business. Though it would be a while before you did a final decision on where you wanted to go and where you would get accepted in.Â
âHow do you feel about this whole thing?â she asked you referring to the ball.
âAnxious but excited. Iâve seen my sisterâs rehearsals and what she had to do before so Iâm hoping itâs a similar experience, you know,â
âI forgot about your sister doing this whole thing last summer. She was a big sis, right?â
âYeah, she was. Too bad Iâm a year too late for her to be here,â you admitted.
âDid you already find a date for the ball?â
âNo, Iâm still figuring that out.â
âIâm sure youâll find someone in time,â she said with a grin.
âOh, she was absolutely beautiful in that dress wasnât she, Belly?â Susannah spoke grabbing a glass of water from the kitchen.
âYeah, I hope she picks that one. She said that she has one more shop to visit before deciding, but I think that was the one.â
âThe one, what?â Conrad asked walking into the room.
âOh, a dress,â Susannah replied.
âYou found your dress already, Belly? That was quick,â he said as he turned his attention towards her.
âNo, not me. We saw Y/n at the shop we went to today and she had this stunning dress on!â Belly answered excitedly wanting a reaction from Conrad.
âOh.â
âYou shouldâve seen her, Connie. She looked unbelievably gorgeous in the dress,â Susannah gushed.
âShe always is,â he muttered under his breath.Â
âWhat was that, hun?â Susannah asked even though she fully heard what he said.
âYeah, whatâd you say Conrad?â Belly teased.
âNothing, never mind,â he noted as Susannah walked out of the room.
âWhatcha guys talking about?â Jeremiah questioned coming into the room and sitting next to Belly by the counter.
âJust Y/n,â Belly answered.
âOh, yeah my friend was talking about her at the club yesterday,â Jeremiah replied.
âAbout what?â Conrad spoke in interest.
âNot much. Heâs another lifeguard at the pool and how he wanted her number,â Jere shrugged. Belly stared at the glass of water that was under Conradâs tightening grip as Jeremiah spoke.
âYou will be seated at table two next to Isabel and Shayla,â Paige directed me to my seat.Â
âOh kill me now,â you thought when you saw who exactly was at the table. It was as if the world hated you, sitting at a table with girls you knew were all gossip and something up their ass. Good thing you at least had Belly.
âY/n! Iâm so glad youâre here,â Belly said as you took a seat next to her.Â
âMe too, Bells.â
âPlease tell me you picked the dress already,â she pleaded.
âMatter of fact, I did⌠And yes, it was the one you saw,â you smiled.
âYes!â as she exclaimed it brought the attention of the other girls.
âSo Belly, how is it living with Jeremiah and Conrad?â one of the girls asks her moving on from the interaction from before.
âWhat do you mean?â Belly asked not really understanding what they were actually asking.
âYou know like I heard you and Jeremiah were a thing before,â another one said to Belly jealously.
âShe still is,â I voiced out.
âSo, what Iâm getting is that Conrad is still up for grabs though?â a different girl butts into the topic.Â
âI donât know, Conrad is pretty quiet when it comes to him liking someone,â Belly answered.Â
âHey, Y/N! Do you think you could come over today? I need advice on a couple things and I think youâre probably the best person to talk to about them,â Belly asks me as we walk out of the brunch. You hesitated in your answer seeing that Belly had a mischievous grin on her face.
âOh, Belly I donât knowâŚâ you trailed off.
âPleaseee?â she pleaded.
âWhat do you even need help for?â
âI picked out my dress for the ball but I still need to make a couple decisions before everything is final,â Belly said excitedly as we walked out of the club.
âWouldnât Susannah be better for this?â you say trying to make an excuse.
âYeah but I miss spending time with you,â she said looking back at me.Â
âOkay.â
You forgot the comfort the Fisher house brought somebody the second you walked in. It was as if Susannah Fisher embedded memories in every wall and decoration as you walked to Bellyâs room. You passed Conradâs room and were thankful the door was shut as you walked by. You didnât know if you were ready to face him again.Â
Hours had passed and you forgot the laughter that comes to this house. You and Belly had spent much time with each other before the accidental meeting at the dress shop. You missed her. Granted you missed quite a lot of people in this house whether you would admit that out loud or not. That was until he walked into the room.
âBelly, your mom wants you downstairs before dinner,â Conrad told her as he continued to mindlessly scroll on his phone.
You took notice of his hair being longer than before and took in his tall structure before you realized you were staring. You turned your attention to Belly who had the biggest smirk on her face. As if she had something planned.Â
âOkay, Conrad. Do you mind staying for dinner, Y/N?â as your name fell from Bellyâs mouth, Conrad looked up from his phone seeing you in the room looking at Belly with what seemed like a murderous glare.Â
âI wouldnât want to intrude,â you say making eye contact with Conrad.
âOh, come on, you know damn well Susannah and Jere want to talk to you,â Belly responded looking back to you and Conrad.Â
âIâll let mom know to set an extra plate,â Conrad spoke as he walked out of the room.
âBelly, what was that for?â you yelled to her quietly.
âI donât know what youâre talking about,â she shrugged heading downstairs.
âOh, sweetie, Iâm glad youâre here! I almost didnât believe Conrad when he told meâ Susannah said pulling you into a hug as you walked into the kitchen.
âThank you for having me.â
âYouâre always welcomed here,â she replied as she pressed a hand against your cheek motherly.
Now you knew they were trying to conduct some sort of plan. When you saw the only other open seat at the table was next to Conrad. But you decided to not put much thought into it as you took your seat.
âY/N!â Jeremiah said surprised.
âHey, Jere.â
âSo I was talking with your mom on the phone earlier and she said you already applied to some universities?â Laurel questioned as everyone ate quietly turning their attention to you.
âYeah, I did. Hopefully, I can add this whole debutante ball thing on my applications still,â you joked.
âOh! About that beautiful dress, did you get it?â Susannah asked brightly.
âI did.â
âSweetheart, you are going to be gorgeous in that dress,â she complimented as your cheeks turned bright red blushing.
âThank you,â you said softly.
âY/N, my friend wants to know if he could get your number? Heâs one of the other lifeguards at the club,â Jeremiah said teasingly looking toward Conrad. Who seemed very focused on his food and had a death grip on his fork.
âJere, I donât knowâŚâ you trailed.
âOh, you could do better than some pool boy, Y/N,â Conrad said bitterly. The light chatter that had built around the table completely fell silent when the boy spoke out.
âExcuse me?â you replied in disbelief.
âYou heard me.â
âOkay, so howâs your college admissions, Steven?â you said wanting to move on from the topic.
You stayed at the house longer wanting to help clean up. Everyone seemed to split except Conrad who was also cleaning up the table. You felt the awkward tension building in the air and it made you uneasy. Both of you waiting for the other to speak out before talking.
âConrad, what was that about?â you referred to the dinner.
âNothing.âÂ
âOh thatâs bullshit and you know it,â you scoffed.
âY/n, get over yourself,â he replied taking the dishes to the sink.
âNo, Conrad because you shouldnât care about that stuff.â as you gathered the cups.
âOkay, but I do,â he said as you walked next to him by the sink to set them down.
âThen stop.â
âWhy?â
âBecause youâre the one who wanted to end things between us, Conrad,â you snapped harshly.
âThis isnât about us.â
âThen why else do you care?âÂ
âI donât.â
âYou obviously do after what you said at dinner.â
âJust dropped it, Y/n.â as he grabbed a beer from the fridge opening it.
âNo, Conrad. You cannot dictate who I choose to talk to in life just because you decided I wasnât enough for you.â you said as your voice cracked.
âDonât say that. When you know itâs not true.â he said putting down the beer looking back at you.
âYou never even gave me a reason so my fault for assuming,â you said resentfully.Â
âIt was my fault and we both know it,â he voiced out.Â

Summery: y/n was the last addition to the Cousins group but that didnât make her any less part of the group. She was like a big sister to Belly which also meant sheâd put her happiness aside just for her no matter how hard it hurt
âyouâre not the only one whoâs fucking hurting conrad.â the words left your mouth with a sour taste. you knew conrad would blow up in any second, and your sentence just gave you the ultimate death wish.
he stepped away from you as his eyes passed with a second of sadness before the blue in his irises turned black. he balled his once free hands into fists as he carefully chose his words.
yes, you guys were in a pretty heated argument but his worst fear is too ever say something out of anger that he will never get to take back.
âbut what about me? donât i get to hurt? donât i get to deal with this in my own way? i understand that iâve been more distant y/n, but iâm fucking hurting. everyday i wake up and smell her perfume within the empty halls just to realize thatâs sheâs not here. and her perfume is fuck-â his voice breaks off.
âher perfume is fucking stuck to the walls like super glue and itâs nauseating.â his eyes leave you.
you know heâs hurting, he has been for months. youâve given him time and space. you just miss the old him, the old us.
he can barely touch you, or look at you anymore. he doesnât call you late at night when heâs studying anymore. no more late night showing up at your doorstep because he misses you. no more kisses at the red lights when you guys go on cruises. no more kisses in the rain. and no more pulling your hair behind your ears and kissing the tears the touch your cheeks when you have a rough day.
he was no longer the conrad that you knew. he became this ghost of a person on who you once loved. losing someone was hard, but losing someone who was still alive was harder.
everywhere you went; you were surrounded with the reminders of him and everything you guys used to be.
but god, you wish you could tell him that.
âcon, i know you lost her. we all lost her. i lost her too, but that doesnât mean you get to distance yourself for me and expect me be there when youâre ready to come back.â every time you spoke you were afraid that itâll break him even more than he already is.
heâs been skating on thin ice for months before he has a full blown breakdown.
âi donât understand what you fucking want me to do. iâm fucking trying. i canât possibly give you more y/n, so please hop off my fucking dick already. itâs been months. just take the fucking hint already. leave me alone.â conrad stepped away from you and he gripped onto the granite countertop. his free hand pinched the bridge of his nose as his breathing lessened but hardened.
you flinched at his harsh words. they severed through the crumbling shell hitting you write in the chest. you eyes began to water up blurring the view of the boy in front of you.
âiâm tired,â youâre voice cracked. you watched as he stood there, lifeless, emotionless towards you. towards the argument you both just had but most of all to your relationship.
âwhat can that possibly mean y/n?â conrad questioned with a level of harshness in his tone.
you tried saving and salvaging everything the both of you built together with everything you possibly can. it was as if you were both two candles burning with the same flame. your fire still rapidly burning but Conradâs was fading away. piece by piece.
youâre share your vibrant and strong flame as his would slowly die down but youâre burning your own flame out by trying to revive his.
a person can only take so much before they burn themselves out. youâre afraid itâs finally your time. the flame finally dying out leaving the room cold no longer kept alive with the heat.
âi canât keep saving this. iâm tired of trying to pick up your broken pieces conrad. i canât keep cleaning up your empty beer bottles that surround you as you sleep every night. i canât keep trying to save you while iâm fucking drowning. itâs over conrad. iâm done.â conrad finally looks at you.
you thought you would break through finally to him. finally crack the wall thatâs heâs built up for months now. instead, you received nothing but a blank stare and a slight furrow in him eyebrows.
you slowly begin to grab your things before heading to the front door. you turn the doorknob turning back to glance at him one last and final time.
conrad caught your glimpse. he now sat on a chair holding the same old beer bottle that chilled his hands every night. his stare was empty and cold. it was like you were never there.
you were now another ghost that haunted the house. filling it to the brim with more memories that conrad would later rinse down with the burn of alcohol down his throat.
you leave out the front door, practically spinning to the car. your knees buckling as you open the door and crash down on the seat. your sobs breaking the deafening quiet atmosphere that made your ears pound. your body releasing everything that youâve kept in for months now.
you wanted to disappear. you wanted nothing more than to slip into the abyss of the unknown and just stay there for awhile. you wish you could forget conrad and everything youâve been through together but you couldnât.
conrad made you, you. youâd now have to learn to be without him. youâd have to wake up to cold beds in the morning that was once warm with conradâs body heat as he lazily slept in while his arm loosely wrapped around your waist.
everything youâve owned will no longer smell like the salty ocean air mixed with a soft musk of vanilla. no more late night texts from conrad saying how much he missed you and no more early morning muffin runs.

You probably looked like a three year old that consumed way to much pixie sticks, as you hurriedly walked to the beach house that your best friend had just arrived to. You were ecstatic belly was your closest friend of many years. The time spent away from each other was almost depressing, youâve missed her a lot. But saying that was the only reason you were practically skipping towards the beach house would be a lie. Her brother, Steven Conklin was also apart of the reason.
You were only a year younger than the boy, though at times it felt like you were five years younger with the way he treated you. Every year he would playfully tease you and poke fun at you just like he did his sister. Of course, you saw it in a completely different light. boys teased girls they had a crush on right? Well thatâs what you told yourself every time he tickled your sides as he would pass by, heâd throw you a charming smile right after leaving you in a lovesick daze.
And now one summer later, you still had it bad for Steven Conklin. This was your summer where youâd finally explore a relationship with him. You were more confident all thanks to your new style. It would be a lie saying âlooks donât matter.â Of course they did, no matter how confident someone is they always have some insecurities. Your new hairstyle that you got done last week was still fresh, the shopping trip you took also was doing wonders, but skin care really was your best friend now.
You didnât get the chance to even knock before the door was swinging open. Your breath was nearly knocked out of you as you were crushed into your best friendâs arms. You laughed when you finally pulled apart. âYou look so good oh my god!â Belly shirked stepping to the side examining your outfit. âMy brother is definitely gonna like this!â She took your hand and spun you in a circle. Your halter top and shorts were something you picked up last minute. âYou really think so?â you smiled nervously âitâs not to much?â
âNo! definitely notâ Bellyâs knowledge of your crush on her brother was never a problem. Sheâd always joke about how you would be able to spend more time together if you actually were in a relationship with Steven. âThese are for you!â You held out a plastic container that held strawberry cupcakes with vanilla frosting. âMhmm they look so good! remind me why Iâve never tried to bake with you?â Belly grabbed the container inspecting the perfectly baked pastries.
âHey ! donât forget when we made those cake pops, even though they were sort of a disaster.â You laughed as you both finally walked into the house, where you heard mingling voices. âHey look who it is!â Jeremiah ran towards you almost on a mission. He attacked you in a hug spinning you in a circle. Your laugh was contagious letting everyone in the room follow after, well almost everyone. Stevenâs eyes met yours from his seat on the couch, you gave a small smile along with a wave of your hand.
In reply all he did was nod his head and turn back towards the video game he was immersed in. The disappointment was clear as day on your face. Weâre you expecting some balloons and flowers? Of Course not, all you wanted was maybe a hug? At the very least a verbal acknowledgment. Steven didnât care that he hadnât seen you all year, he wasnât even excited. You shook your head in attempt to get out of those thoughts you wouldnât let yourself think about to much.
~
The day was magnificent. Nothing beats a day at the beach with friends! The shower you just took to wash the beach sand off was relaxing, even though your mind kept trying to focus on Steven. The whole day heâs probably spoken three words to you? So as you nervously tip toe to the living room, where you know heâs at you contemplate on what to say to him. It shouldnât feel this way you and him have always spoken to each other.
âHi..â Your voice is almost a whisper in the quiet living room. Stevenâs eyes look up from his phone mumbling a âHey.â before returning his attention back to the device. Grabbing the plastic container with his name on it from the kitchen, you hesitantly join him on the couch. âI made these for you! i havenât gotten the chance to give them to you soâ You smiled holding out the container of chocolate covered strawberries. Each one had either sprinkles or an intricate design. Stevenâs mouth up turned into a smile only for half a second before returning to the same blank one heâs had all day only towards you.
He took the container from you slowly placing it on the coffee table. Just like you expected he returned to his phone once again. Was this some sort of joke? There was no explanation on why he was acting like this towards you. âHey, you wanna watch that show on Netflix where they all try to find their âperfect matchâ â you laugh using air quotes on the last part. Steven sighs before laying his head against the couch. âIâm actually really tired so i think iâll pass.â Youâd always been able to sense when heâs annoyed. So you could feel the annoyance times ten, and it hurts that your the cause of it.
âWe could always sleep on the couch for old times sake?â You attempt a smile. Your hands are shaking. God Steven makes you so nervous. âIâd rather sleep in my bedâ Steven speaks quickly, standing up almost in a hurry. âOh okayâ you mumble voice breaking. And just as fast as you joined him in the living room your left alone, the only sound is the creaks of the house. Steven Conklin was acting different this summer and you had no idea why.
~
The next morning you woke up in a funk. You tried not to let it show but everyone kept asking âwhatâs up with you?â Even the cause of your saddened mood had noticed or at least you think he did. You caught Steven staring at you through a hallway mirror as you examined your two piece bikini. You both probably held eye contact for about 15 seconds, you were the one to look away though once you felt that warm feeling in the pit of your lower belly.
You havenât given up though, today was the day you were gonna put an end to what ever was going on with you and Steven. This wasnât how this summer was supposed to be. Youâve imagined the perfect summer in your head multiple times. All of them of course ending with you and Stevenâs âsummer romanceâ. That couldnât exactly happen if you both were acting distant with each other. So with new found confidence after last night in the living room you decided to approach him.
His summer job at the snack shack was the perfect opportunity. You would invite him to hangout! And hopefully it would turn into a date? You sure hope you donât embarrass yourself in front of him. You even practiced what you were gonna say the whole walk over. So as you confidently approach the snack shack with a smile you looked around for him. Was he on his lunch break or something? âCan I get you anything?â The question came from behind causing you to get startled. âSorryâ Steven smiled at you before coming behind the counter again. âJust a soda.â You nervously responded thinking about backing out of the plan.
âItâs on the house.â He placed a ice cold can of strawberry soda onto the counter. âYou remembered?â You whispered grabbing the can, the cold beverage did nothing to calm your nerves. âCourse i did the only thing you drank last summer.â You swore Stevenâs eyes trailed down your body. Only causing you to be more nervous. âSo i came here to ask you something.â You finally spoke after a moment of silence.
Steven nodded his head signaling for you to continue. âI was going to see if you-â
Itâs as if the words were stuck in the back of your throat not wanting to be let out. âIf you wanted to maybe hang out tomorrow a little picnic on the beach?â You were looking everywhere but at the boy youâve just asked out. âSureâ the words almost felt like a slap to the face. You secretly pinched the sides of your thighs, just checking if this was actually real. Steven just accepted your invitation and you couldnât stop the smile that spread across your lips.
âOkay tomorrow?â You opened the soda can before taking a quick sip. And of course your clumsy self spilt a little. The sticky drink falling onto your chest. Steven cursed under his breath. Immediately his eyes fell onto your breasts he was definitely gonna think about this in the shower later. You didnât notice his dilemma, you were to busy wiping off your chest with a damp cloth that you plucked from the counter. âYeah, yeah tomorrow!â he stuttered when you looked back up. âSounds good! Iâll text you.â You lean over the counter leaving a chaste kiss onto his cheek.
And you rush off without another word. Why did you just do that? Was it awkward? Did he like it? Would he regret saying yes to the picnic?
~
âYou look so prettyâ Belly says looking at you through the mirror. Youâve just finished your makeup and thankfully belly agreed to do your hair. âIâm really nervousâ You whisper, putting on earrings along with a necklace. âI mean I didnât really mention that I wanted this to be like a âdateâ or whateverâ You continue to ramble on as belly laughs shaking you. âShut up! youâre fine Steven wants you and I know Iâm not wrong I promise.â She smirks pulling you up from your sitting position.
âI want all the details when you get back!âBelly whispers pushing you ahead. As you both reach the kitchen she stops you again. âActually not all, please donât tell me if anything rated r goes on.â You canât help the giggle that leaves your mouth, doubting that anything like that would go on you reassure to keep stuff like that to yourself.
Grabbing the beige picnic basket thatâs packed full thanks to Laurel and Susannah. You head out to find the boy thats been on your mind all day. Hearing voices coming from the pool, you smile to yourself noticing that all to familiar laugh of Stevenâs followed after. âWhen are you going on your little date with y/n?â Jeremiahâs lively voice stops you in your tracks. âIn a little, why?â Steven answers voice raising a little. âWhyâd you agree werenât you just saying how annoying she is?â Conrad speaks from out of nowhere. You didnât even know he was outside.
Conrad had to be joking right? Steven would never say that about you.
âYeah, she is but hereâs my plan.â He pauses for a moment. Maybe to check if anyone is listening. Little does he know your right around the corner. âI only agreed to this date or whatever so i could get her off my back a little, even you guys noticed how pushy sheâs been with me, itâs totally a turn off.â Stevenâs declaration has you wiping your face angrily. You hadnât even noticed you were crying. Thatâs how he felt? God you were so embarrassed. How could he speak about you like this In front of other teenage boys?
You only wanted to mend the relationship you had with him since heâs been so distant these past days. But now here you were crying, in the dress you thought heâd like as he laughed at you along with his friends who were ultimately your friends too.
It hurt.
The last words you stuck around to hear were âSheâs so desperately desperate.â Before you walked back to your own beach house sadly. You probably looked like a crazy person, tears streaming down your face as you carried a full picnic basket in one hand. Once you were alone in your room you changed into pajamas not planning on leaving anytime for the remainder of the night. Your phone went off with a text just as you attempted to drift off to sleep in hopes of forgetting this ever happened.
Steven: Hey, you still coming?
Steven: Canât wait, Pretty :)
Your finger hovered over the block button. You almost pressed it but it was no use. Youâd have to see him tomorrow. Thatâs just how close you were to each other. Youâd have to act as if you forgot about the whole âdateâ and most importantly as if you never heard those things he said about you.
Summery: After Conrad screwed y/n over for Belly he was stupid to think sheâd help him when he turned up at her door in the middle of the night, Right?
Summary: Conradâs rejection to the Deb ball turned out not to be the hardest punch Y/n had to experience this summer, being forced to watch him show up for Belly was much worse
I knew mom was waiting for this moment since I was a little girl, in a way I was excited for it too, especially considering that I was going to be doing it with one of my best friends. Growing up during the summers next door to the Fisherâs and consequently the Conklins was the best thing that could have happened to me. These summers are my whole life, nothing outside them matters, itâs all a pass by, all the count down to summer.
This year I knew would be different, starting with the fact I was going to be a deb, I knew what the Fisher boysâ thought about the whole ordeal but I also knew how Susannah felt about it so I wasnât worried. I knew Iâd have Belly on my side too because she accepted Susannahâs pleas after a little persuasive work from me. It was a little strange to me because Belly is a year younger (16 years old ) than Jere but I also know Susannah knows how to pull some strings, able to get us to do this together.

Your friendship with Neteyam is not exactly.. per say, a friendship. Its what you would technically call it, since you both gave it no other said title. But we all know you guys arenât just friends, loâak knows, kiri knows, spider knows, jake and neytiri know, hell, even tuk knows. Everyone acts oblivious as it is.
There are times where you wonder what your relationship really is, anything but âjust friendsâ comes to mind, some specific memories take you back and give you scary realizations.
For instance, that one time when the whole crew was hanging out together in the forest, our designated hangout spot, you showed up a little after everyone else because you had errands to run, and Neteyam had saved a spot just for you.
âhey guysâ
ây/nnnnnnnnâ tuk smiles at you and runs towards you with her arms outstretched, signifying her desire to be picked up and spun by you, you do just that and laugh with her. âWhatâs little girl doing here with the big kidsâ you question teasingly, knowing Tuk dislikes being called a little girl.
ây/n, finally bro , i almost thought you ditched usâ loâak says dramatically and spider and kiri laugh, you walk to the group with Tuk in your arms as you slap the back of loâakâs head, Tuk jumping out of your arms to go lay in Kiriâs lap.
You look at neteyam, he hasnât taken his eyes off you since the moment you came into their vision, heâs leaning against a tree, sitting with his legs spread quite a bit, manspreading was a trait neteyam got from his father, and it was so hot.
He pats the space between his legs, and you happily oblige. âhiâ you whisper when you look up at neteyam, his chin resting on your head, his arms encircling your figure, thumb rubbing sweet circles on your thigh. âhi sweetheartâ he flashes you his infamous smile.
Or that one time when you went hunting for rabbits with him in the forest, you just couldnât set your aim right, it was getting so frustrating you almost cried. But hey, you have neteyam with you, donât worry!
He helps you fix your posture, his chest pressing up against your back, heâs so close you can feel his breath on your cheek, his deep voice rumbling in your ear that tells you to focus makes you do quite the opposite. How could you possibly focus when heâs this close to you? Your insides are exploding with butterflies, your lower belly warm and your lip almost draws blood from how hard youâve bitten it.
Somehow you end up hitting a rabbit with your arrow without even realizing and only realize the situation when you hear neteyamâs laugh and him congratulating you. âyou got it y/n!!â (mf that was all you)
This man really has no idea of the effects he has on you does he?
You donât have to think hard of moments like these with neteyam, they rush through your mind like a film reel. Countless.
No one really thought much of it when they saw you and neteyam having moments like these. No one questioned when he called you sweetheart, or his love, or beautiful, or some sort of nickname on a daily basis, not even you. All waiting for that one particular moment where you both realize its love and make it official.
Which seems so likely to happen today, the tension is thick through the roof with everything that just happened.
Youâre patching him up because of course he just got into a fight with some dingus because loâak canât handle a fight alone for shit.
ây/n, gentle pleaseâ neteyam lets out a low hiss as you dab a piece of cloth on the cut that bleeds on his jaw.
Youâre angry with him, he knows that. And god, heâs angry with himself too, but whatâs he gonna do if his baby wonât talk to him?
He doesnât know what to say, anything to ease the tension, so he decides to go with
âare you upset?â he looks at you with soft eyes
you move his face around to find any other cuts to deal with, his chin between your fingers âso upset, you donât even knowâ you hold back a grin at his quiet voice.
âim sorry y/n, loâak would get his ass handed to him if i wasnât thereâ he sounds so desperate, which he is, for you.
your heart swells, you wanna play.
you put on an act and look away from him, huffing in faux anger.
ây/n pleaseâ he whispers, looking at you with pure distress in his eyes, you think you can even see tears. Heâs so hard to resist right now, how is he not catching onto your game?? Or maybe he is playing along?
You decide youâre done. With two things.
Torturing him, and torturing yourself.
You stroke the apple of his cheek with your thumb, swiping at the tear that dare fall from his eye âtake it easy neteyamâ he nods eagerly, heâll listen to you until he dies.
You sigh, and clean up the cloth and medicine and get ready to leave, standing up but neteyam grabs your wrist and pulls you down, onto his lap, his arms circling your waist as he holds you close to him.
His forehead rests on your collarbone and you stroke his hair.
âokay, nete look at me..â he obeys.
you cup his face in your soft hands, he nuzzles against them and you lean forward, you look at his eyes and heâs already closed them. God!!! Heâs so cute you could squeal!!!
You smash your lips against his and his hands automatically bring you closer, your legs straddling his lap as you run your hands through his hair, grazing at his nape.
Neteyam pulls away to look at you for a split second, and you look so so pretty he just canât hold his tongue, âi love youâ he whispers against your lips, three words meant for you and you only. He goes back to kiss you before you could reply, he gives you a few open-mouthed kisses before you mewl into his mouth and he crumbles.
Neteyam groans and he attaches his lips to your jaw, giving you gentle kisses that trail down to your neck, âi love you so much y/nâ you wonder where he learnt this from.
âi love you neteyamâ you whisper as you feel yourself grow more impatient as time goes.
he kisses you again and you feel him smile into the kiss, your chest is warm, neteyam intertwines his hand with yours and it becomes sloppy quiet fast.
youâre both a mess, whining into each others mouths , youâre so deep into it you donât even realize footsteps getting louder and louder, eventually you are pulled out of your fantasies when you hear neytiri address her son right before she catches sight of you both in this sinful activity, you pull apart suddenly and scramble to get off his lap, failing miserably as neteyam seems opposed to the idea of letting go of you.
âneteyam! fuck!â you whisper-yell and shove your face into his shoulder, his hands still on your hips as he sputters to explain to his mother what she just witnessed
Neytiri coughs.
âmother i was just- we were- â
âmaking out?â Neytiri chuckles and shakes her head, making her way out after grabbing the plate you used to fix neteyamâs wounds.
âneteyammmmmm i canât do this right nowwâ you cry embarrassed into his shoulder and he shudders at the thought of his mom knowing what you guys were doing. He laughs soon after, snaking his hands around your waist as he holds you in his lap
âi donât know this isnât all that funny neteâ you grumble and shake your head, âpoor neytiriâ
âno.. poor neteyam, i didnât get to finish âmaking outâ with youâ he says, putting up fingers meant to imitate quotation marks to mock his moms words.
you slap his arm gently âas much as i was enjoying, i donât wanna risk getting caught again.. ewya forbids its tuk next time.. i would never even kiss you againâ
he gasps, putting a hand over his chest to fake his hurt and you giggle at his expression
he kisses you again, and again, and again until you have to put your hand over his lips and tell him to stop in between a fit of giggles, he laughs with you âjust kissing you enough so i donât die when you refuse me laterâ you grin so hard your cheeks hurt, but its so worth it.
You hear loâak , spider , kiri, jake , and tuk cheering from outside, âGO BIG BROâ âis y/n my actual sister now?â âugh finally they stopped beating around the bushâ âthats my son, on his lap?? thats literally us neytiri!â
summary: Netyam has been training with his father incessantly. He just needs this one moment to be with you, and only you.Â

Youâre in the midst of cutting up dried fruit when you feel it: Two hands gripping your waist, and without a thought the knife in your hand presses against the throat of whoeverâs behind.Â
âNeteyam, you skxawng! I couldâve hurt you!â You drop the knife quickly, softly slapping the side of his head with the other.Â
âItâd be the best way for me to go out, no?â He chuckles, taking the knife from your clutch, throwing it behind you with a smug smile on his face, as he gathers your now empty hand in his.Â
âDonât do that again.â
âI promise I wonât,â he rolls his eyes, that stupid smile still on his face while making a show of crossing his fingers behind his back.Â
His free hand feathers down your arm, âWhat are you doing back? I wasnât expecting you for two more days.âÂ
Neteyam has been off training with his father and brother. Not only was his father your clanâs Olo'eyktan, but Neteyam would be next in line as the eldest son. So taking these training sessions seriously was crucial to his future.Â
âWe finished early, but we go back out tomorrow. I needed to see you.âÂ
You smile at his endearment.Â
âLetâs go, I want to go to Utral Aymokriyä,â he tells you suddenly.
âRight now?! Itâs nearly eclipse,â but he drags you out in the absence of concern.Â
âÂ
âMa âTeyam! The sun has already set. Your father will kill usâ you if he determines we are out here.â
âYou worry too much, yawne (beloved).âÂ
âYou are not worrying enough,â you huff, as he slows both of you to a stop, once you have reached your destination.Â
The Tree of Voices is a magnificent sight, but at night, you marvel at how Eywa could have created something so beautiful. Watching as the willow tree glows its breathtaking purple hue. Surrounded by glowing green cherubs. Against Neteyam, his green eyes glimmer softly, as does his skin.Â
He sits on his familiar spot, resting against a rock facing Utral Aymokriyä. He tugs you down with him, placing you against his toned chest. A teasing smirk on his face as he throws an arm around your shoulders, pulling you closer.Â
âYou have training tomorrow with your father. I donât want to be the reasonââ
Neteyam canât help but grow irritated (in a loving way, of course) at your worrisome ways. He hasnât seen you in a week, since training with his father and younger brother becomes more frequent and tiresome. He just needed this moment to relax, and who better to do it with than his yawne.
He cups your jaw gently, silencing you in the moment, tilting your face to him. âI have not seen you in what feels like forever. Let yourself be the reason I am happy and easy. Hm?â
You smile shyly at his admission. Letting yourself relax in the arms of Neteyam entirely.Â
âI have missed you.â He murmurs, the pads of his thumbs running over the apples of your cheek.Â
âSo have I. More than you know.â You reply, placing a hand behind his neck. Watching as his eyes become heavy lidded, inching his faceâ more so his lipsâ towards you.Â
In a blink, Neteyam wraps another arm around your trim waist, pulling you even closer. And his lips latch on top of yours in a rush.Â
âNeteyam,â you gasp, your hand squeezes his arm as he trails kisses down the side of your neck.Â
âY/n,â he groans against your pulse point before he fastens your lips with his, cupping the back of your head.Â
Itâs scandalous and a little degenerate to do what you do at such a sacred site. Neteyams kisses only grow fervent at the sounds you emit. The way you grip his arm or allow your tongue clash with his, just as heâs taught you.Â
âÂ
Neteyam laughs at your joke, his lips never far from your temple. Your hands swim together in the air gently.Â
âHow are singing lessons?â He asks, bringing the back of your hand to his lips.Â
Inwardly, you shudder at his affection. But the way the tips of your ears flicker gives you away.Â
âIt is alright. My mother believes I will be just as good as her one day, maybe even better when I master my breathing.âÂ
Your mother, Ninat.Â
âYou will be. You are.â Your Neteyam assures you with conviction, his fingers dropping yours to grasp your chin.Â
âThank you, ma Nateyam.âÂ
You kiss his swollen lips, cupping his face in your palms. Lost in anything and everything him.
Yet, the sound of a clearing throat causes the two of you to jump away. Your hands drop from Neteyamâs face. Your fingers covering your lips as if it could hide what the two of you had been doing, at the sight of your clanâs Olo'eyktan: Jake Sully.Â
Loâak stands at his father's side. A guilty look on his face. He had no choice but to snitch. His father was a convincing man.Â
âDadââ
âNeteyam. You shouldâve been home by eclipse, what are you doing out hereâ never mind, donât answer that.â He pinches the bridge of his nose. âWe have training tomorrow morning, did you forget?âÂ
Neteyam rises to his feet, lending a hand to you.Â
âI didnât forget. It is my fault. Iâ I lost track of time.âÂ
Your stomach stirs at the sight of an intimidating Jake Sully. Your tail tucked low and ears pinned back.Â
Jake sighs in reply. âLoâak, See to it Y/n gets home safely, and make your way back home quickly. Understood?âÂ
âYes, sir.â
You look up at Neteyam in question, but when he squeezes your hand and nods softly. You know to follow his fatherâs orders.Â
âMake sure she gets home safe.â Neteyam calls after your retreating figures.
âYes brother.â Loâak replies exasperated as if he didnât already know it would be his head if anything were to happen to Y/n.
âGoodnight, Y/n.â Jake smiles, bowing his head curtly.Â
âHave a goodnight Mr. Sully. Goodnight Neteyam.â You reply, waving as you follow closely behind Loâak.Â
When the sound of their footsteps is no longer heard, Jake canât help but let out a short, frustrating sigh.
âWhatâs going on with you son. I can expect this behavior from your brother, but you? Youâve been slacking.âÂ
âIâm sorry, dad,â Neteyam canât help lowering his head at the disappointment heâs embarked on his father. âIâm trying to learn to balance it all. I barely get to see her.â He raises his head once again.Â
Jake sighs again, unsure of what to say. How to fix this without coming off a complete jackass. Anything pertaining to his kidsâ romantic lives was usually appointed to their mother. He wasnât hopeless, but Neytiri was far better off.Â
But he knows one thing. With the love he feels for his mate, heâd never want to get in the way of whatever it is between you and his son.Â
âWeâll figure out a compromise. How does that sound?â Jake slings an arm around his eldest, letting a hand rest on top of Neteyamâs head.Â
âThank you, dad.â He smiles, throwing an arm around his waist.Â
âLetâs head back, your mother is worried sick.â He kisses the top of his head and the two trek home.Â
