@huffingtonpost made me smile. What a beautiful quote. 💗
Youth Impossible Standard of Success
Hello, everyone!
Hope you had a nice day! It’s pretty late on my side here, when I write this down. I’m currently waiting for my YouTube video which talked about the same thing to be uploaded. So, let’s start to the thing.
Update: Video is up!
Few days ago, I read this time article: http://time.com/3580915/taylor-swift-album-success-millennials/ regarding the culture of young people early success. They took examples such as Taylor Swift, Malala Yousafzai, Mark Zuckerberg, and of course you know the list is endless. They are the top of toppest (...can I say that? Hahaha).
I imagine that as: Top of the 20th century youth mountain.
Something like that...

Interesting how their success made such impossible standard of success for other youth. Exactly, I thought when I read that.
I recently think about the same thing.
But, one thing to notice, those successful young people hardly represent the youth condition around the world. So, their success which also gain big media exposure has been such great news, yet it also makes me and probably a lot of youth out there wonder:
“What have I done?”
“Why can’t I be successful as them?”
“What did I do wrong?”
Those questions made me question every path that I took, even until my playschool era. Can you believe that? Hahaha. I mean every dot leads to another dot. May be, if I can read faster, I could get into better playschool or join genius kids competition, which might led me to better kindergarten or best elementary school, which ease me probably into best secondary, high school, best university, and best job.
But, I realize it’s... impossible. Unless your parents or guardian(s) really eager to set out everything.
Besides, it’s probably bad, too. Because once I gain all of that, I might wonder other things like: what if they didn’t so strict to me, what if they gave me freedom to choose my own path, etc. Then...
BAM!
I came to another pointless wandering.
So, I realize the key is in the now. I mean you can’t change the past (at least not now) and you can’t exactly control your future. There are just so many factors that could bail our future-life perfect plan.
I come to conclusion that the current is the one you can change. You have full control of it. You can take a nap right now or write that novel idea you have been put off. You can work like crazy and heighten the risk of heart attack or take some rest and give yourself some self-love.
Taylor, Malala, Mark, and every successful young person out there should inspire us, not burn us. Besides, success might have different definition to each of us. The bottom down is don’t be burdened by these amazing young people, if we do, let’s take a step back, focus on doing things you love (ehm, better something productive), keep being happy, be open minded toward opportunities that come our way, and do the best we can.
Hopefully every path we took whole-heartedly leads to success or open up to great opportunities. I wish you all the best luck. :)
HIGH FIVE!!

I just registered to contribute as translator for current favorite platform @linewebtoon ! My specialty is English - Indonesian. I really want to translate Indonesian webtoons into English (lots of funny webtoons on the Indonesian site!) but can’t find the option to do so yet… :( Let me know if any of you know how to fix that. You can find my profile and translation works at: translate.webtoons.com/profile/marssi (currently, only can be accessed through PC). Have a nice day!
Hanging out with @kyliejenner in Malibu. 😉💕
Trying out new spin pins. I love messy bun. I have short hair, fine strands, and it’s pretty thin. Unexpectedly, although I love how practical the pins are, from my experience right now, they don’t work that well. I don’t think I can really run without it unravel.
However, probably these factors come into play: 1. I need more practice and who knows they might work better in the upcoming days. 2. The spins quality might not be that good, hence the price $0.2/pin.
Anyway, I love to try new hair gadgets. 💕✨
Love her performance and her contagious laugh on @theellenshow. Wish I’d see you in person.

Reading has always been my favorite. I love novels, but comics were my first love. So, I'm excited to share my current secret. I read comics for free now and--uh oh-- it's not illegal at all. Best part: It's full color, got sound effects, and more! So, I decided to talk about it in simple video. Hope you'll enjoy the website as much as I do. 🙆🏻✨💓
