Have I ever told you guys that I play trumpet? Well, if I have, I'm going to tell y'all again:
I play trumpet.
I love playing trumpet.
I love band camp (the last week starts tomorrow and I'm going to be very upset when it's over).
I love concerts.
I love my section.
I love my section leader.
I especially love playing with my brother who is also a trumpet player.
And finally,
I love band.
I wanted to make a quick zine about something that happened today. it's really so sad that even oratories the older kids can only think so selfishly. we're not there to make ourselves look good, we're there to do a service. being older and having a "higher role" doesn't give you the right to forget we're there for kids. it doesn't give you the right to forget we're there to give ourselves to others.
K BYEEEEEE
I'm fighting with all my willpower to get out of the creative block🥸
I'm cooked🫠

Obligatory fish drop
this time, in zine form!
no one come at me about the fact that fish are a paraphyletic group that don't include tetrapods its funnier to imagine we're all fish ok
My final for the first year of my fashion and textile course :] fossils cardigan featuring living fossils like coelacanth and lots of dinosaur bones. Big love letter to palaeontology and natural history. Got super into my knitting machine but I wasn’t very adept with it yet so I sort of crocheted around the edges of my pieces and sewed them all together, and crocheted some edges/ribbing. The buttons are handmade from polymer clay. Used some second hand gold yarn I found in a charity shop and a whole bunch of mixed variegated wool together. My most ambitious project yet I completely just did not speak to people for that final month I was working on this 😭
Some close ups:
And my watercolour paintings this piece was based on:
ci ho messo un po' per fare questo zine perché volevo che venisse bene (e sto valutando se scrivere a zerocalcare per mandarglielo ma mi vergogno lol)
Strappare lungo i bordi è la serie più vicina a me nella trilogia in diversi aspetti quindi mi sono voluta impegnare per davvero in questo zine anche per tirare fuori dei pensieri e sentimenti che mi galleggiavano in testa e che è diventato terapeutico mettere su carta
I wanted to complain about comics in Turin but I realized that no one asked
anyways, here's a photo of my cosplay that no one asked for either🧡🧑🦲

'THIS ZINE WAS MADE ON COMPANY TIME' is a 16-page mini zine by Seven (@arcadiiian) about why you should steal company time... ✂️ Buy it here or tip them.
zine about not giving up made during Salesian youth group (MGS)
A large crowd followed and pressed around him. And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.
At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?”
“You see the people crowding against you,” his disciples answered, “and yet you can ask, ‘Who touched me?’ ”
But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth. He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”
We were asked to reflect on what made us bleed like the woman and what we are willing to do to heal. can we ask for help? do we accept the help of our loved ones?
A scrunchy zine showing a momma opossum carrying her babies inside her. Motherhood is hard.
I hope the pictures explain how to fold it alright! If you need help, please ask!
You can download this zine in high quality on my kofi for free!
The world needs this zine "Don't Hustle Your Hobby" by Wild Ramp Publishing because we are constantly under the pressure to monetize our hobbies (including zines--it drives me crazy when the new zinesters want to know what their "profit margin" will be. You are on the wrong path, my friend!)
I like that it lays down the need to keep hobby a hobby (rather than turn it into work) and how freeing this unprofitable, self-expressive activity can be for a person.
This would sure be a zine that I gift to friends. I picked this copy up at the 2026 Milwaukee Zinefest.
Finished stitching my Oversight series.

I made this about a friendship that ended months ago.
it was very important to me but somehow her absence is also proof of my growth as a person.
I still love her though🫶
Some more zines (with ducks!)
