ah is this one of those things that everyone gets, since they're anon? i don't know anybody truly here, so I'll take it as that. Unless its a platonic thing, which: yay!

My favorite thing about Rin is his intensity. What drew me to him is truly the same thing: Whatever the hell is wrong with him,,, The unstable way he holds himself, tone and mood fluctuating at even slight comments. Shinsen really did his character justice, but that work is really only an addition to the character himself. I'm really enamored with odd characters, and when they are very clearly suffering from being socially stunted, I think something ticks in my head. Probably a neuron popping. Who knows. Nucani also is very clear with its story telling, so it wasn't hard to connect the obvious mental problems Rin was having and being isolated in the way he was. Reading over the main story and seeing him switch back and forth with Morvay between ecstatic adoration for being called Eiden's brother, and then threatening straight after... Love at first sight,,, truly,,, I think his brother complex made it worse for me, but currently i don't have any room to criticize myself.. My favorite moments with Rin are when he's losing his shit and worrying. Pleading with Eiden on his knees to go back to his world, practically shrieking. I'm drooling,,, He's emotionally unstable and desperate for what he wants, it's the best...

When I got into Nucani, I actually didn't think about him too much in the first meeting. To be truthful, his first sprite pop-up within chapter 7 where he catches Eiden before antagonist-ominously fading away, I completely forgot even happened and only remembered when I was on my tenth check back at the Miraheze wiki for a drawing reference. 'Huh,,, was he in chapter seven,,,??'. That scene itself didn't do anything for me. I'm sure at the time I must have brushed him off as just an antagonist and forgot it within the blur of whatever the hell Kuyas chapter was. To give myself a kind hand, I didn't recognize the type of storytelling Nucani was bringing to the table. I assumed he would be, plainly and simply, an antagonist bad guy. Thankfully, I was a thousand percent wrong.! I think, to be more superficial, his long hair caught my eye. For someone supposed to be a double or twin of Eiden, everything looked different aside from their faces. I'm a sucker for opposite twins,,,, His brother complex is undoubtedly also my favorite part of Rin, and I can't stand when others water it down to something platonic. It's clearly apart of his character and I wouldn't like him to this degree if he were. His isolation and complete lack of boundaries harbored some nasty incestuous feelings,,!! Don't ruin this for me!!!!!

Ah,, it got long,, so sorry,,,!!! WWW. To be short, I think Rin's socially stunted mannerisms is the best part of him. Curling into corners and biting his nails like a cat and unable to control himself around people,, its the most charming thing I've ever seen,,,!! I wish Eiden wouldn't domesticate him so soon,,, Feral like characters are the best, so maybe that's also why I prefer Karu as well...
