First thank you for liking my art style, its a little all of the place (like this answer) but i really do appreciate!

Looking at the artbooks on my shelf I can safely say that I’m big inspired from the 1900s-the 1920s illustration of the time. I prefer Art Deco for the more extreme bodies and block colours but Art Noureau for its designs and flow. But a guy that wasn’t even alive then that I do love is Aubery Beardsley. His ink erotica is just yummy.

Mike Mignola is another one that as a kid went unconsciously because his character designs on Atlantis the Lost Empire, best Disney film (don’t question me) and my fave as a kid. Only finding his name when I grew up after getting into hellboy from the Guillermo’s movies. The sharpness and shapes of his characters. YUM. Speaking of Guillermo Del Toro he is definitely up there as with someone who works on many of his poster James Jean.

As a kid I always would work from key frames in fighter games like street fighter and tekken and just the more over the top body proportions for visually clarity in a over stimulating game. (streetfighteralpha3maxbeststreetfightergamedontquestionme) And that kind of goes into my love for the Bayonetta series that definitely had an impact on my gay awakin- art. I love Mari Shimazaki character designs of Bayonetta and her fashion background really got me into that extreme body works that is always fun. And just into fashion art. One day I hope they make that third game, so sad they never got to finish that. :( The spinoff was fun :)

I also just like figure work. I used to be always in a bunch of life drawing sessions, running around the studio for different angels and shapes of the human body in the longer 20-minute poses. When I don’t work digitally usually only draw with pen and dried out markers because I love building up with a good drying out marker. UwU

I LOVE BODIES AND PLAYING WITH BODIES AND DRAWING BODIES. ITS VERY FUN.

I love horror! Movies! Games! A lot! I used to watch the little making of Silent Hill 2 A LOT as a kid and listening to Sato Takayoshi talking about his approach to character design is a big help of growing up in a world that HATES IMPERFECTION. Not a horror game but I love American McGee’s Alice and Alice the Madness returns and would just stare at the artbooks for hours when I was younger.

Can’t post it here but I do just draw a lot of nudes and nudes in other nudes for warm up and cool down because erotic art is fun! I got a lot of just erotic art and photography artbooks on these shelves.
