well I think the day after lubbockgate buck skipped into work at the 118 with a big cheesy grin on his face. hen says morning buck ☕️👀 and buck says morning 🤗🥰 what are you in the mood for for breakfast? eggs? pancakes? bacon? why dont I make us a fresh fruit salad too 😄🥰 and hen says okay what has you in such a good mood this is our 3rd shift in 4 days somehow😴… and buck (now covered in flour from mixing the pancake mix too excitedly) says chris HATES chess🤩 !!!! and chim says wait didn’t chris have some big chess tournament this weekend 🤨 and buck is like yeah 😄 and eddie pulled him out of it 🤩 and told chris hes moving back in with eddie whether he likes it or not 🥹 so now eddie and chris are living together again 🥰💓😍 and then bobby walks up to buck and claps him on the shoulder and says congratulations buck, im really happy for you guys. and buck short circuits like uhh well I mean um. 🫠😧. that was all eddie I had nothing to do with it 😅 I mean. actually he said he would call me after he drops chris off at school (ravi voice in the distance: oh Im sure …) so you should just wait and say that to him 🫡 no need to congratulate me haha 😀 and in that moment eddie calls and buck picks up and eddie says buck! Its 7 am there why are you covered in flour already🙄❤️! and buck says we’re having celebration breakfast for you and chris !!! and everyone jumps in to say congrats. and eddie just says. of course you told everyone already 🥹💞 and buck just says sorry I couldnt keep it to myself 😔❤️ but I didnt tell them about your dad’s bus ride home you should tell that story again … 😋🥰🤩💞🤤

buck baked every spec of flour in his apartment. and then looked at all that bread and scones and whatever else and thought eddie would probably enjoy this. and he might have flour and sugar and spices at his house for snickerdoodles too (buck could buy this at the store but eddie probably has so why would he buy and bake at his own place). and he wrapped the baked goods all nicely and put them in a cute basket and brought it to eddies house and then passed eddie a scone and eddie said “this is actually pretty good buck” earnestly and sincerely even though buck made the scone with soft and/or melted butter so it was probably dense and bad. and then buck shyly smiled because eddie liked it. and also this is the first time hes gotten a compliment on how his food tastes. Chim said he loves loaf hen said it smells good bobby said its a good coping skill but none of them said yum even though they all must know by now buck craves validation with cooking specifically. except then eddie said yum and buck blushed. and eddie said it even though the baking was bad and he thoroughly believed it because he went looking for other baked goods to eat because buck was right eddie would really enjoy his bread and dense scones. and then eddie made coffee for him
