I can’t conjure which amis this sounds like, but it sounds like someone, yes?
How Chris goes through all that and stays yolked? Not sure. Seriously, protein goals after that kind of trauma??? No way.
Gantaire spotlight! I captioned it in (probably very literal lol) English for the best viewing experience 🥺
Madrid Los Mis 2011 “Drink With Me (Brindo Por)” Grantaire verse
I love this cast so much and I think their Enjolras and Gantaire are perfect.
ive been reminded of the authority movie so this is what in a perfect beautiful world I'd personally like to see:
not set in the DCU
SET IN 1999
recast Angie's actress
plot is a mixture of the shiftships arc and the outer dark arc
the inside of the carrier is mostly practical, no CGI walls or tables or sci-fi stuff i want it all star trek style, you don't even need CGI space if you are 90% of the time in the bleed you just need red paper
we start in medias res with the team, LA is getting blown up, all that drill and we are introduced to the characters THROUGH that first fight
midnighter and jack get to have beef
angie and the doctor get to have beef
jenny gets to have beef with every single person in the film and, while we are at it, she's played by an actress that actually grew up in London
apollo gets his "fuck this guy's crazy powerful" moment, bonus points if its after a cheek kiss with midnighter
Angie SOMEHOW gets her first woman in the moon, beaming with joy moment
somehow thers a guy in the movie called Mark Millar who dies in the most pathetic embarrassing way
the movie ends with jenny's death on jan 1st 2000
but because i know they wouldn't let ME write this film here's my prediction
the authority are the villains for superman 2
set in like idk 2028
jenny is somehow still there because james gunn used tom king for research and tom king only
apollo has short blonde hair
Angie is mean
swift is not and they for some reason give her a katana or something
everything about the doctor is cgi, including his glasses
thers at least three gay batman jokes about midnighter
I fear this is spot on. How do we become consultants on the movie? Can we be on the panel of hardcore fans??? James Gunn, if you’re reading this please hire.
My only hope is James Gunn said it was a passion project implying maybe he gets it?

Enjolras after catching Grantaire playing dominoes instead of preaching republicanism in the Barrière du Maine
I’m not crazy, right? We all walked away from Superman (2025) with the head canon that Mr. Terrific was an ambulatory chair user? Yes? Yes?
Jean Valjean and Javert kissing (not clickbait)
This is your Lex Luthor.

One of the most visceral bits of staging in Teatro Lope de Vega’s production of Los Mis is Gavroche’s death.
Enjolras is trying to pull Marius away from the barricade, Valjean’s trying to take his place, and in the chaos Gavroche scales the barricade and disappears upstage. All the students turn to watch him, backs to the audience….except Grantaire. Grantaire wanders center stage and stares out into the audience. He is also watching Gavroche, but from a whole other perspective. He falls to his knees when the first shot is fired, he tries to reach out to him. It’s not until Gavroche has died that the rest of the students slowly turn to face the audience and the lights change.
^ Captioned the video in English again. My spanish is worse by the hour so srry is smth is fucked
@ergusa oh don’t get me started
Daniel Diges, I love you. He’s strong, commanding, and also really charismatic. Like, I understand why someone would follow him into war.
^ I captioned this part, but my spanish has gotten atrocious so srry if something’s off.
He just has the best voice. So effortless. Great Valjean too. yeah, if I could put more than one video in a post this post would be insane.
Nothing beats this production for me. Teatro Lope de Vega is top tier Les Miserables.
Look at him holding her. I mean, come on.
Hello Great Gatsby fans. I haven’t seen much discussion about this so I thought I might share. For the queer, musical theater fans out there, Nick Caraway is a gay man in the new Great Gatsby musical written by Florence Welch
I really hope this version is good and that it goes to broadway. I’m really not a fan of the papermill playhouse one that’s currently running.
@adri-atics why, yes it is!
Here is the full version for anyone wanting to watch it!!! It is one of my very favorites <3

Not sure if anyone’s familiar with Teatro Lope de Vega’s production of Les Miserables (Los Miserables) that was in Madrid in 2011. But I cannot recommend it enough. It’s professionally filmed and available on Youtube (it is in Spanish, but like…it’s really good…so)
I’ve been watching it today, and one of the things I adore about it is how their not afraid to let actors touch
Like, they seem so loving. It deepens the relationships so beautifully
