ive been reminded of the authority movie so this is what in a perfect beautiful world I'd personally like to see:
plot is a mixture of the shiftships arc and the outer dark arc
the inside of the carrier is mostly practical, no CGI walls or tables or sci-fi stuff i want it all star trek style, you don't even need CGI space if you are 90% of the time in the bleed you just need red paper
we start in medias res with the team, LA is getting blown up, all that drill and we are introduced to the characters THROUGH that first fight
midnighter and jack get to have beef
angie and the doctor get to have beef
jenny gets to have beef with every single person in the film and, while we are at it, she's played by an actress that actually grew up in London
apollo gets his "fuck this guy's crazy powerful" moment, bonus points if its after a cheek kiss with midnighter
Angie SOMEHOW gets her first woman in the moon, beaming with joy moment
somehow thers a guy in the movie called Mark Millar who dies in the most pathetic embarrassing way
the movie ends with jenny's death on jan 1st 2000
but because i know they wouldn't let ME write this film here's my prediction
the authority are the villains for superman 2
jenny is somehow still there because james gunn used tom king for research and tom king only
apollo has short blonde hair
swift is not and they for some reason give her a katana or something
everything about the doctor is cgi, including his glasses
thers at least three gay batman jokes about midnighter
