James x Regulus = Tragic and complex, angst to the power of two, Crimson Rivers changed something in me, I am not the same person. This is my personal favourite one, every fic with them is just perfection ESPECIALLY when James has his knife kink

James x Sirius = Chaos incarnate, still highkey cute, they are soulmates in any fanfic, I swear. Just how Sirius talks about James and how James talks about Sirius>>>>>>>>. I stand by James pushing Sirius to be more open and less defensive.

James x Remus = So romantic and careful and UGH, just, their little attentive habits. I would argue they are the ADHD x Autistic of the marauders. The idea of Remus leaning his head on James' shoulder and James murmuring things to let him rest. I have been consuming the fuck outta these little loverboys.

James xBarty = Sexy and dangerous, that one scene from Chew Me Up (but don't spit me out) where James does the smoke thingy kind of settled everything for me. Also very angsty if done right. But like they would be freaks, amiright

James x Evan = Delicate and Intense at the same time. I have not read as much as these, and it saddens me, but the mere thought of calm, unnerving Evan melting into a smile for James and everyone else is just like huh, Evan can smile???
