Main Headcannons:

- they're both generally very egotistical and focused on themselves in general. For Evan, this comes from never being thought of or properly taken care of as a child; his focus on his self is a form of self protection. For James, it's the opposite. James grew up being coddled and handed everything on a silver platter, and he would like to keep it that way.

- The only one the like more than themselves, is each other. Once they start seeing each other, it becomes way less "I'm going out of my way for myself, and myself only" and way more about inconviniencing the rest of the world, if just to please the other.

- the above is especially true for James towards Evan, again, Evan using his money and his connections for himself is a way to make sure he never finds himself beaten down and alone again; his selfishness is out of fear of being neglected again. But James is not familiar with the concept of loss or being entirely on his own. But James loves sort of providing Evan whatever Evan wants and/or needs. He sees getting in the way of others as nothing but a necessity for making sure Evan is treated well.

- That's not to say James doesn't get spoiled. It's just in a different way. While James would pay for a whole hotel floor for a night, buy out a winery of their wine collection, shut down a whole street for a dinner party in a public garden, Evan likes to buy James fancy wine glasses, heavy gold watches, sleek black shoes.

- Evan shows his appreciation for James's big gifts by using them to the fullest. If James bought them a private jet, Evan is lounging around in nothing but a robe, drinking wine and feasting on a three course meal.

- They truly do not care for others. If James was standing at the jewlery counter to buy Evan the last stunning pearl necklace, and a man came up next to him saying that he had saved up for a year to buy it for his wife's birthday, James would shrug and tell him "tough". Evan is getting that necklace, no matter if James only saw it in the window five minutes ago.

- They've got a house in Venice. A penthouse in England. One in France. Another in Germany. They're loaded, especially with their money combined, and they love to spend.

- At first, they thought it would be easier to have an open relationship. But they got so jealous and whiny that they realized pretty quickly that they could really only handle being exclusive.

- The two of them have no privacy from each other. Anytime they stay at a hotel, they get the lover's suite, and they adore when it has the glass wall between the bedroom and the bathroom. Not that a wall would matter anyways, if one of them is in the bathroom, they're both in there.

- actually, bath time is a ritual for these two. Silk robes, tons of different lotions, scrubs, soaps, whatever. They're both glowing literally all the time because bathing is like a 2 hour affair.

- Neither goes out in an outfit the other doesn't approve of. Sometimes Evan is allowed to leave in a top that leaves his back exposed, but if James is in a bad mood, he's covering up. Certain days means James can leave with nearly all his shirt buttons undone, sometimes he can't.

- They rarley pay for anything for other people. If they're going out to dinner with friends, the friends are paying separately. It’s not even that they're greedy over money, but they view paying for someone else to eat or buying something for anyone other than each other as a form of disloyalty. James’s card only ever swipes for Evan, and vis versa.

- They celebrate every month of being together- fancy dinner, 300 dollar bottle of liquor, diamond rings, gold dipped roses. I mean, it's absurd. And it doesn't end at one year. What comes after 12 months? 13.

- Evan's still a creep. James buys him animal bones and skulls with diamonds and jewels encrusted on them.

- Ugh actually, on that note, they own a hunting lodge. Huge fancy thing. They both love hunting, but in a snobby aristocratic way.

- they also rarley invite others to their additional houses. Even their closest friends have only been to their house in Venice only once or twice. Those places are for them and them alone. Again, it's not even greed! They are just so deeply devoted to each other. They can socialize and mingle and whatever at parties or when they're out, but their home is their sanctuary and for them. But also, James was an only child so he hates sharing, and evan is always scared someone will come in and literally and figuratively take everything from him.

- James is obsessed with working out. They have an at home gym, everything like that. Evan isn't a fan of gym work outs, but he'll still join James in the morning. Sometimes he'll just do something simple, other times, Evan just watches him and reads. James likes when Evan reads out loud. He also always makes sure Evan can see that he can bench press Evan's exact weight. Which Evan finds genuinely stupid and ridiculous.

- They pay personal servants, but for the most part the servants do not live at the house. They also do not have access to the entire area of the house where James and Evan's bedroom and bathroom are. Occasionally, when they're leaving for their next house, they'll have the servants come deep clean, but otherwise, again, very private from others.

- When James was younger he was stupid and got a few cavities that required him to get very few teeth replaced in the back of his mouth. When he got older he replaced them with gold alloy (basically real gold just mixed with other metals so they don't break with the constant pressure).

- James is tatted up. And they're all very thought out and what he considered masculine. He's definitely got like a giant lion climbing up his back or something. Evan has a few quieter tattoos, and for the most part only James knows he has them or where they are. Not even because they're freaky, but just because of their quieter location.

- James wears gold and beaded jewlery (any color) while Evan wears silver and pearls.

- They both need therapy but they think it's dumb, they have each other.

- even though they're rich they live doing domestic things together like baking or grocery shopping.

- they rarely buy things online, even with modern internet. They much prefer to shop together in person. Try things on, feel the material.

- all roads lead to these two and their fucking skinny dipping. Okay listen, I KNOW I need to stop talking about this but it's so important to Sunrose to me. Like, Rosekiller doesn't skinny dip. Sunchaser doesn't skinny dip. Specifically Evan and James with each other. They love it. They're all over each other. They build their houses with pools with the thought of skinny dipping together in mind. That being said, they have the comfiest poolside lounge chairs, and you know they're being used for anything other than simply lounging.

- They have a very elaborate collection of stupidly expensive sex toys. They're really not even that freaky, but they like to try anything once. And I mean that literally. They'd buy a $400 toy just to use it once and toss it in the back with the rest.

- They'll leave in the middle of a function if they decide they want to get intimate. Even if they just want to make out, they're making excuses and walking out of a friend's birthday. Again, it really only comes down to each other. They don't care much for others. And anyways, while they're not private from each other, they're relatively private from others.

- Sometimes though, James gets a bit of a thrill from Evan messing with him when they're out and about. Whether that be just teasing, hidden toys, whatever. Evan, however, hates being a victim of that. James would never try to mess with him in a sexual way in public.
